there is no way better to distress Wrangler jeans than just wear them all the time and hardly beat them. only then you will get a perfect fit and worn out look (wrangler jeans are really too hard to destroy). distressing by hand and sandpapers is a shit

You're definitely right. I just thought it would be fun to try to speed up the process. I think I'd have to wear them and wash them everyday in order to finally get them distressed how I want them🤷🏻‍♀️

It was a pair of RAW denim jeans, if you are interested in cool fades you should to buy New RIGID pair of 13wmz, 936mwz, 47mwz or 36mwz if you find them (not produced anymore in rigid/raw but maybe left some on shops warehouse). And I recommend to read about Raw Selvedge Denim , it's very interesting and big theme of fabric, fits and fades. Main rule - wear more, wash less. Only time and moves can help you to transform pair of raw/rigid jeans in your second skin and perfect looking and fitting jeans!) You can buy same pair and wear them (handly distressed and brand new) parallel and compare results after year for example P.s. fabric of 13/936mwz and 47/36mwz are different. Second are darker and fades of them are easier to get and more contrast than 13/936mwz. If interested I can shoot a youtube shorts video for you to demonstrate my own faded pair of wranglers fade

ill give you some actual tips! sandpaper was a good idea, really good for wearing out a knee, holes, or the very bottom around the cuffs. stuffing the jeans with like a shirt when you do it is the way. hanging them in the sun is great for what you were trying to do with the bleach. heard old stories of dragging them behind a truck to give them some quick wear and tear lol that would be a good video. turn inside out, fold them and throw them in the washer, but don't let them go through the spin cycle, it usually creates unnatural vertical lines from that. fast tips are hard but washing them a lot will generally soften them and give them age. washing them with woolite for dark colors will give it wear and tear when you wash them and still reserve some dark colors. there are ways to speed up the normal wear and tear of just wearing them, if you spray some starch on the normal wear areas, like behind the knee or around the zipper, it will make them a little rougher and give them a faster chance to wear in a nice fade quicker. also wear them when you sleep will speed it up as well.

You should buy pre washed cowboy cut jeans or better yet george strait cowboy cut jeans and wash them in hot water and some of your formula you come up with, and they will be fine in a few washings.

My god woman natural fades are the best, wear them as long as possible then wash them inside out on a low temp do not tumble dry 😮

@@carleegifford My girlfriend broke her Wranglers in by simply wearing them while working on the farm. Climbing over rough stone walls and barbed wire fences broke them in and saved he legs at the same time. The 2 days burning the stubble and getting showered with sparks and embers also speeded things up. She was quite pleased when a guy at a party told her they looked like the jeans in the old cowboy films. She thought of selling them on the internet for more than they cost new, but she never got around to it. LOL

What people like you don't realize is that adults are busy. You wasted 60 seconds at the start just recording yourself... Walking?! Do you not realize that as adults we have a baby crying in the background and dogs begging to get let out the back door, and eggs boiling over on the stove. It's super frustrating to sit through this wasted time crap when you just want to see the answer and you only have 30 seconds break in the home.

Believe it or not, they’re my most comfortable jeans and I wear them all the time. They’re so soft from the sanding that I don’t even feel like I’m in jeans. I understand that this isn’t for everyone but it was a very fun little project
