The bigger you get, the more even 1% surpasses the $89 subscription. I ended up loosing $5,000 a year with CDbaby and that’s not even including content ID. In 7 years I lost nearly 6 figures. It depends on your size as an artist. CDbaby is “worth it” depending on your royalty collection.

It all depends on whether you need all the stuff they give you. It’s a lot of products aimed at producers & engineers. If you’re not a self-recording artist/producer it’s overpriced for what they give you. Symphonic has exclusive agreements. If you use them you need their consent to post your music anywhere else, otherwise you’re in breach of contract.
