Jazz samples, hard kicks, gritty bit crushed snares, and devilish/demonic vocals. Actual phonk artists include artists like DJ Smokey, Soudiere, Roland Jones, HPShawty, etc. This is not phonk and is entirely mislabeled.

Phonk used to use cowbells heavily when it first started popping off back in 2012 but now, cowbells are used sparingly, if they are even used at all. This artist along with other house artists that label their music as “phonk” throw cowbells on it and automatically assume that it’s phonk. This isn’t the case at all. It’s simply EDM with another instrument added to it.
