Vincent Ortiz You have a point there :) But keep in mind you need a teacher who can teach you things the right way.. For example how to hold your sticks, No hate towards meytall, but she is holding her drum stick in a strange way, thumbs up. Another thing that I want to point out, a lot of people think they can learn a lot from people like meytall or Cobus. I am not saying they are bad drummers, they play awesome covers, but that's it. To me, the technique they are using is fairly simple, and I think technique is important. For example, don't know if they play/can play double strokes, triple strokes and paradiddles. (So you can't really learn a lot from them, since they don't have a lot of technique, they just play covers that sound good to the audience)
