This song usually makes me cry for myself, but today I cried for you, watching this and imagining what you must be feeling with your grief this raw. Hopefully you felt some uplift. I do, even as the tears roll down my face for my lost ones. It reminds me to cherish those memories and be thankful I was blessed that I had the chance to make them, while also remembering there's more to come if I leave myself open to it. This song...... I am not ashamed to admit that it made me cry when I first heard it....... I recently lost my mom on January 22, 2022 due to covid complications. She was only 46..... and this song, it brought to the forefront of my mind the memories we shared, and here it is my 25th birthday today and she's not here with me.......... I miss you mom...... I understand how you feel I lost my father Oct. 3rd and we played this song at his funeral, this holiday season will be difficult without him for the first time and even though this song still makes me cry it also reminds me of him too. Its a great message to make the most of your life to honor their memory and the respect and love you hold for them even though they are no longer with us. I'm sorry for your loss but I do believe that we can all move past our grief and be thankful for the love we experienced with them.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have two siblings that have lost children....my older brother lost his youngest son in 2006...and youngest brother's daughter passed at 20 years old from Sepsis. It will always hurt...but you have to remember all the good times.

I'm so sorry for your loss brother. I wish I could give you a hug. You're definitely right. Make the most of it when you have them. Always let the people you love that you love them. Song always gets me to man. Me and my mum planned to meet up for a coffee 2 weeks before she passed away. I never got a chance to get that coffee with her and it always kills me! It's deeply painful to loose someone that you love dearly. I think when they first pass you beat yourself up for the things you never done. It does pass though. All the great times you and your boyfriend had. All the special little moments that you shared. Nobody can take that from you. You were a compliment to eachother. Keep your chin up brother, I hope your OK.

This song helped save my life, in my time of need. I became a fan because of this song, so I am REALLY late to the party! This song came out just after losing my husband of 17 years and I heard about it through a Facebook group for gay widows and widowers. I was my husband's caregiver for the last two years of his life and it's amazing what you actually miss after they are gone. (In other words, what I wouldn't do to wipe his ass one more time. I love Disturbed the songs etc. But, you also need to give Slipknot/Corey Taylor a listen, Snuff, Vermillion pt. 2, Unsainted, PsychoSocial, Birth of the Cruel, Wait and Bleed, Dead Memories, Duality... all the lyrics are deeply emotional (yes, many people discount them because of the masks etc. DON''T... the lyrics are amazing and deserve a chance)...
