I’m so happy to see your wife join you again! I think the “neon gods they made” that Paul Simon wrote about are television sets. People are so focused on watching the television, as if they’re worshipping it, that they don’t talk to each other anymore. Now you can say the same about phones and computer screens, so it’s still a relevant message today.

Far worse today, whhere the device is portable,, just try standing at a bus stop and looking to wish someone gooday, impossible they are either heads down staring at their phone, or, have their ears plugged. When the nxt phase arrives, they will all wonder what freedom meant, as they will never know. It is all about brainwashing and control. No wonder David gets so angry
