Honestly, I'd love a tales episode about Jim from the moment he got left behind till he gets put down, maybe it was somebudy who we know, maybe he ended up in alpha's horde,i think it's a cool concept.
@NateButlerFresnoCA4 ай бұрын
Great idea! I always thought that JIm was a loose plot thread, and that it would have made total sense (and a good scene) if our group of survivors had encountered Jim as a walker, perhaps even if he killed one of our group, demonstrating to them that they should never leave an infected person to let them turn. In fact, I was so expecting it that I was surprised and disappointed when Season One ended without us seeing Jim again -- I thought it was perfectly set up for that to happen.
@mycklaflonscamping13984 ай бұрын
I’d like him to be one of the walkers that was in the herd that trashed Hershels’ farm. He was not left far from Atlanta. And the helicopter flew over the city and created a herd that consisted of city walkers and rural straglers. Maybe he was in that herd. To be in Alpha’s horde. The whole whisperer story was arse anyway with her ten thousand strong CGI herd. Would be idiotic. The group literally drove a car to Noahs’ old camp because it was so far away. A rotting walker could not even have done that in the US heat. Going by the walking dead standards.

One event I'm surprised hasn't been in one of these videos yet is Strand's radio conversation with the lone cosmonaut stuck in space. It's such a unique angle of horror in a universe filled with other forms of it, and I find it interesting (albeit disturbing) wondering what his fate was after he inevitably succumbed to starvation, dehydration, or suffocation (or God forbid decompression) depending on which came first. Was he infected with Wildfire? Did he reanimate? Or was he the last human being in history to remain deceased of "natural causes," for lack of a better term? I assume his launch was far prior to the outbreak, but I don't think we ever had any real evidence to definitively say he avoided it. The sad part is, it doesn't even really matter.

My favorite story of these 3 was the Travis and Chris one. I know Chris did some bad things but he was only a kid dealing with the zombie outbreak and losing his mother too. I wish we got more to their story but sadly we didn't. Jim's sort of Premonition/dream of what was going to happen at the camp was unqiue and a big coincidence that fit the story. I'm loving these stories! I was actually thinking of rewatching both TWD ans FTWD so these will get me hyped up all over again

Question - Could primates like monkey's, chimpanzee's and Gorillas become walkers since they share 92% common DNA with humans ? It's known that primates can contract human disease so they could also contract the " Wild Fire Virus " and become a new type of walker , The Primate Walker. ( just an idea for new type of Walker variant ).

I found Chris's story to be so so heartbreaking, particularly because of the impact it had on Travis. He was never the most interesting character to me, but at the beginning of season 1 I thought he came across as a pretty alright kid, who of course could be a bit of an ass at times like every other teenager on the planet, but overall seemed to be on a good path. His descent into the darker version of himself we see later on was done beautifully imo, showing that although Travis was an incredible father, there's only so much you can do for a person who's transitioning to adulthood in a literal wasteland. I'll never forget watching the scene where Travis finds out about his death, how absolutely gut wrenching it was to see him come to the realization that his son still became a victim of the world and his own mind, no matter how hard he fought to keep him safe. Everything about Travis's character arc was so tragic, there was so much potential to explore the kind of man he would've become after this. I fully believe he could've become one of the absolute best characters in the entire show if his story was continued. Also, it was super cool to see Chris alongside Nick and how the apocalypse affected them in basically completely opposite ways. His death was very well done and worked nicely with the overall storyline, but if he stuck around I think it could've been interesting to see him evolve into a villain or a sort of "anti-Nick", having their circumstances bring out the worst in him, instead of the best.

I agree! But didn't they try that with "Tales of the Walking Dead"? And most of the fandom hated it? I, personally, LOVED "Tales" for the very reasons you cite, but that series died an ignoble death after so many fans rejected it. While I'm on the topic, I also like the way "Tales" tried out different styles, like the 'haunted house' episode and the "Groundhog Day" episode, both of which I loved, and I was disappointed that so many people hated them.

I liked the bounty hunter in FTWD it’s something new and interesting to see a Ranger become a hunter and that what made better FTWD a little bit better but they had to kill him off and it disappointing that the show runners did that and it’s messed up. Now Chris I always hated him but his death was sad and he was to far gone and he didn’t know what he was doing. Now Jim his back story was just sad he lost his family right at the start when the world was going dark but I hate how people say that walker by the tree is Jim it is not him I have to tell everyone that. Jim was left by the side of the road and that walker in season 4 was in the woods. Once again great job.

Agreed, that was so chilling, and it went by so fast... we never got a back-story. It was clear that that woman had been abducted, but by whom? Angry lover? Tony Soprano? Serial killer?
