"It's not morse code. That isn't even how morse code works. It is a series of short and long pulses. Even thinking outside of the box by assuming she is using one finger for long pulses and one finger for short pulses, she taps three fingers on the bowl. It is just random tapping, there is no correlation between her tapping and morse code, I couldn't identify a single letter. Every other claim, aside from the bruises, is just silly. Why would a captor let her edit the videos? That doesn't even make sense. And if joe-youtuber could spot the SOS, so would they. And if she knew enough to use SOS as a call for help, why on earth wouldn't she have tapped that on the bowl?!? [... --- ...] It's the only morse code I have memorized. Also, the bowl moves (so what?) because her other hand is resting on it. It moves perfectly with the rest of her body. Finally, her lip does not look busted, it's either a cold sore (which would explain it showing up more than once) or a bad blemish."

I agree with the people saying the stalker may be autistic. During an internship, I had an autistic man follow me around after I had a brief conversation with him in the cafeteria. Everyone in the program lived in a dorm together and he would wait outside my door every morning to give me almond milk because I told him I liked it in that brief conversation. I never felt unsafe, but someone else told the program head. When they sat us down to talk about it, he fixated on the fact he did not knock so he wasn't bothering me. That’s intense, I had my own “Gerard” a few years back. this guy left notes, followed me to work, stores, on dates, would ambush me when walking my dog(who DID NOT like him) and finally ended up trying to get into my home one night, uninvited and unannounced. Very scary. And the whole time he acted like this guy at first. This happened over the course of a couple months.

I had a similar situation, though afaik the guy wasn't autistic. I went to an adult learning course and halfway through, this new guy joined. Everyone else including me, were all women. This guy said he'd just arrived from Brazil or somewhere, taught salsa and Portuguese. I've always been interested in learning new languages, so I suggested meeting for a (formal) lunch. Now, from my perspective, this was purely a professional thing. No romantic intentions whatsoever. Like a work colleague thing. Despite people suggesting otherwise. At the lunch I quickly realised he thought that this was a date but I did my best to be polite. This meeting got pretty boring because for one thing, this guys English wasn't particularly good, and he rambled on, not letting me get a word in edgeways, going on about his job at a pizza place(?) Anyway, I politely excused myself, saying I had another appointment. He also managed to get ahold of my number and started texting me weird questions like if I liked lobster or something. I was on holiday at the time, and when I got back, I told my tutor about it and how obviously this guy was confused about our interaction. Luckily, she nipped it in the bud and Covid happened, so thankfully he never contacted me again.

Every time I hear about the Kate Yup situation and the evidence on her body, it just reminds me that people can't spot the symptoms of a serious eating disorder. Bruising, teeth falling out due to purging, she's really skinny yet binges. She 100% leaned into the speculation because it means more money. As said, if Jow Shmoe on youtube can figure it out, then authorities easily could too. I find the whole situation sad, but a different reason. Purging for years weakens tissue, and binging stretches it. A lot of people with that ED die from their stomachs literally ripping apart. It's also sad because people could be friends with people who have serious ED and not even know it. Not all of them looks or acts like Eugenia. Not all of them are obvious about it.
@paranoidandroidd0029 күн бұрын
THANK YOU. i have been saying this for YEARS dude, and its so painfully obvious that she must have an ED, however everyone always shuts that theory down. even if she was being held hostage, to maintain that tiny of a body she would need to have been purging somehow. and then, as you’ve already said, the rest of the symptoms like her teeth falling out or the consistent bruising along her body are what comes with Bulimia.
@imsleepy621129 күн бұрын

The stalker segment reminded me of a good creepypasta I once read about a man spotting an odd passenger on his daily commute. He would make a visible effort to avoid any contact whatsoever to the point it looked weird. So one day, he'd sit in front of him trying to get the passengers attention with eye contact. He kept it up untill the train reached the final station. The passenger, now alone with him, finally acknowledges him, tells him he made a big mistake and disembarks. The protagonist then finds out he is somehow transported to another dimension where everything is different and he stays on the train in fear. The people look different, sometimes mildly like an unusual skin color, sometimes wildly different like the people looking like horrific insect creatures. He also finds out that he himself looks like the people in each dimension hes in, but he does his best to remaun inconspicious by not interacting with anyone to maintain his disguise. The conclusion being that the passenger he stalked was another dimensional traveller and he became just like him.

I looked it up and found that the doll is probably a "We Did It! Dancing Dora" doll. In the video I watched, the first thing it did was basically turn to the camera in this exact way, but notably it's activated by pressing a button on its foot. Maybe the insanely low quality of the footage is to hide the girl's hand when she presses the foot, to try to forward the notion that the doll did it itself. Also, the batteries used are AA. Almost every household has AA batteries. And even if they don't remember putting the batteries in... why would you remember that? The mother might have put them in and just forgot. Or depending on the way the battery pack opens, the kid might have snatched some from another device and out them in herself, she's not a baby.

The Kate Yup situation gets weirder. In following videos, she loses a tooth while she's eating. @@loxul2239 lol what, that's not how banking works. KZbin or anyone that pays you don't send money to where you're located lol. They send it to your bank account, which is stored on a server owned by the bank, "in the cloud" so to speak. Don't you have a bank account? Why are there so many comments like this on this video? Does nobody have bank accounts!? I suppose this channel probably has quite a young viewership, cos so much of these videos is about stuff that obviously isn't real, like ghosts aren't real but Nexpo will sometimes show videos that "show" a ghost. Kids still believe in Santa Claus, and ghosts, and they won't lose that belief until they get older I suppose But anyway yeah. The money is sent to the bank's servers. KZbin ad revenue isn't sent to her phone, or something like that. Nothing like what you're suggesting. The only way to track it would be to see if her card has been used at an ATM or to pay for something in a store. But that only shows that _someone_ is using the card, not necessarily her. The whole thing is a bit iffy. Like whoever this imaginary person "holding her captive" wouldn't notice the very obvious messages hidden in the text of these videos. She was deliberately playing up to this, to get more views, and it worked.

I was thinking the same thing. And even if it was low quality and jerky because of that, the fact that it moves only once in the whole video is really weird. It honestly looked like a puppet to me and since they had it positioned in the corner with a partially closed door blocking the left side it would've been very easy to hide the puppeteer. My daughter actually had that doll and that is exactly the way it moves, it jerks back and forth quickly while it sings...no slow movement...so to me it looks like batteries are in it, but probably almost dead... plus I would think the little girl and mom would lose their shit if it moved like that and it never had before, clearly noticeable without reviewing the video... This helps to explain why the father recorded the video off of the phone with his own phone instead of uploading the video file directly. Recording a recording like that ruins so much fine detail that it would be a lot harder to see the hands of the person there. Hearing that the father filmed the recording was honestly the biggest giveaway for me, but I’m glad there’s more evidence debunking it.
@abderianagelast78685 жыл бұрын
Most likely, they were lying to make the story more believable for the internet. This is definitely the easiest way to set up a ghost hoax: claim a toy does something with batteries, claim it doesn’t have the batteries in, then film yourself making the toy do the thing with sufficiently low resolution that it’s hard to even tell what’s going on. The Dora toy is a really good choice here because the brown hair contrasts her pale face, so you don’t need the details to see that her head turns. Filming another camera instead of uploading the source footage is another red flag.

The hands were the first things I noticed. People are so gullible.
