The story is basically about a 15 year old boy, about to be 16, named Quinn who has several severe mental disorders due to abuse and neglect from his parents. Hence his irrationality near people. His parents favored his little sister since she was, shall I say, "normal". Because of this, he killed and ate his family. The monster you were seeing, is just a hallucination after he killed his family. Hope I cleared it up!!! I wish I could send a thousand "Thank You"'s to Llama Arts for Animating my story!!! AAAHHH, I love it so much!!! Edit: If there's any confusion on why it's so horror movie cliche'd, there's a deeper meaning than just the appearance. The hole was meant to represent the dark hole of his mind that he had hesitated to go down when decided to kill his family, the bow was a simple trinket for a reminder of what he'd leave behind, the blood was to represent the scars, the stains he'd be carrying on his hands if he did this, the river of blood was to represent that he had gone past the point of no return and that's when the monster came out, the monster had taken over, his mind had finally broken. Like a Jekyll and Hyde bit. The Jekyll in him was so scared, so scared of what he would do and what would happen but, the Hyde in him felt nothing but anger and hate. He ate their heads so that they wouldn't tell anyone in the afterlife as well as so they'd know that they were a part of him at last. It was when they got to the cabin that Quinn had been left outside in the hot sun while his family stayed in the comforts of the cabin, he'd finally had enough. He was going to show them what would happen to them when they abuse him. Edit: another thing, Quinn is not meant to represent people who are genuinely suffering from those conditions. He killed his family due to being weak minded, worn down and emotional neglect. the schizophrenia simply causes his hallucinations, his psychosis makes him irrational. It is not in ANY way meant to represent people with these disorders, it is not the cause of him murdering his family. What drove him to murder and insanity was the abuse from his family and the effect his disorders had on him and not getting the help he needed to control them. Quinn is a weak minded and tired teenage boy. I'm sorry if it offended some of you, he was in no way meant to give people with these disorder's a bad name.

God damm this is a pretty good theory cause it makes sense that’s he would have a mental illness so yeah he probably killed his family and probably ate some parts of there body and right after he had a hallucination of himself being a monster so it would explain why as he saw the monster charging at him he killed him self. But yeah this clears up a lot thx

I’m seeing a lot of people not liking the current Llama Arts videos saying they’re “too unrealistic.” Yes I miss Mr. Nightmare’s narration, but the problem I with the true horror story format is that you always know the protagonist is going to live (otherwise how would have they written the story) and they can feel very same-y after a while. I think it’s cool that Llama Arts is animating non-realistic stories or in this case stories that take on a different perspectives. Keep up the good work Llama Arts! 👍
@archercole52713 жыл бұрын
The big issue isn't knowing whether or not the protagonist lives or not, because it's about how well we can insert ourselves into their situation, and if that situation is a highly unrealistic one, people can't get so invested in it when it is an impossibility. Also, even though someone had to have written them, that doesn't mean there isn't any suspense to it. It's like with the broken bottle in one of the paper bags magic trick. The participant knows the professional magician won't let them get hurt, but when the buildup is done right it sends anyone into shivers. And even when we do know, that doesn't mean the person going through them won't be dealing with severe PTSD or stress like with the third pizza story or the seven eleven plot. It haunted those people for a very long time. Sometimes the question is, "Were they able to move past it?"
@thelaggyowl36773 жыл бұрын
@@archercole5271 I’m not saying those stories are bad, I’m just saying that those stories can feel very similar after a while. And when we are talking about the whole story being animated, Llama Arts has done a whole bunch of those types of stories for years. Throwing in more supernatural elements allows for more unique ways of storytelling, more creative freedom, and more unexpected outcomes. It also utilizes animation a lot better as it’s perfect for showing all the types of monsters and in this case dream/hallucination sequences. I know this is all just my opinion, but it sucks seeing Llama Arts put all this work in one video only for people to complain. Life of an artist I guess.
@archercole52713 жыл бұрын
@@thelaggyowl3677 I'm not trying to completely trash Llama Arts or its hard work either. And I understand that there are still a lot of fans who like Llama Arts and the writing and work behind it. I'm just saying that once the formula changes, it can put off a lot of people. I'm not opposed to the supernatural, I just don't think that and Llama Arts story telling mixes. And in fairness, there can still be a lot of diversity in some of the more realistic stories in terms of how it is told or how different of an approach they want to take towards representing the more horrifying or intense moments.

I love your Animation, Llama Arts! Your style improves more and more with each animation, and it really shows! Although, just my personal opinion, I enjoyed the True Stories more. The Creepypasta, Fictional Horror Stories are good, but they don’t actually spook me like the ones with more realism. The stories that are set with a more realistic tone are infinitely better (again, just a personal opinion!). Hopefully we’ll see some more true stories soon!
@andrejamena42623 жыл бұрын
Just because some story has the word True in it doesn't mean it actually is. Horror can be a way to manifest those fears into something that goes against our understanding. I agree with a realistic tone but I'm not sure if we're on the same page here. Where I'm at with realistic tone, there has to be a sense of immersion and realism that the creature or monster or demon exist in the world. What I feel like most people say about realistic tone, it's murderers, kidnappers, home invaders, etc. because that can happen real life. That's probably what you're saying.
@shartvark31293 жыл бұрын
We’re all entitled to our own opinions, and I respect yours! We just have some different views on what’s viewed best as a scary story. I personally prefer ones grounded in a realistic setting. Some of the fantasy ones ARE good, I definitely agree! My tastes are just more rational horror, as the commenter above pointed out! The twist ending in this one was so sudden and sort of out of nowhere to be considered a scary twist, that it didn’t have an effect on me. Real life encounter stories come across as more threatening and engaging to me as a person who enjoys scary stories. We all have our specific tastes, though!

The ‘realistic’ ones are so fucking boring. They are repetitive as shit and always end the same. Narrator see scary person under bed, narrator runs away, scary person escapes or is caught, happily ever after. This wasn’t even supernatural and is based on mental illness, a very real thing. The boring ones are not infinitely better.

I love how there aren't many jump scares and when there are they are predictable, say when you're drinking a cup of coffee you don't spill it.

That thing about parents not understanding their introverts children finding comfort in their phones is so damn relatable 🥺

Yeah, but I kind of sympathise a little bit with the parents honestly.

But this kid was crazy, wasn't he? He killed his family for that fucking damn cell phone. I mean who does that ?
@Splinter696913 жыл бұрын
He did go too far with it i can agree with that seeing as there's no defending killing anyone let alone your family. But another thing i can say is even if the dude did kill his family and was in the wrong, the parents never understood him and kinda just drove him past his breaking point tbh. Everyone takes things differently and some people just go comepletely insane as seen from this animation.
