Residents of Soshanguve have been complaining about the high levels of crimes in the area and very little has been done so far to deal with situation. ANC has never taken crime seriously in this country

Again we are seeing reactive actions by the ANC. We need to see proacive actions, law changes (even the constitution if needs be), patrols, army on the ground, tough attitude, illegal foreigners issues to be tackled, alcohol curbs, drugs, etc. The ANC has ignored so many of these issues over 30 years, that it is now a monster of a problem. The ANC should realise that they need to do something different. It cannot be business as usual. Our children & people should be protected with all resources.

My disappointment about this country is the way government is treating the society, when the MEC or Minister of police go to the bereavement family he is escorted by 15 luxury cars but when you go to the police stations there are no cars we have to queue for a van. As I am speaking we are sitting with a traumatized situation in town whereby 10 nyaope boys died early this morning in a delapidated building of public works whereby the municipality is looking at this building everyday they are not doing anything about them, crime is happening day and night in this government building but the so called brink is quiet the only thing he is doing is to give instructions to the metro police to take fruits and vegetables from the poor vendors
