I had a mammogram in January this year, I’m glad I didn’t cancel it, found out feb 9th I have breast cancer and I had the operation in may to remove it and I am doing chemo, only 2 more left then 20 rounds of radiation, if I had 1 piece of advice to anyone never miss your mammogram,they caught mine early…and I’m am so greatful.

That was so nice of your daughter to do your hair! My mom has thin hair as well so she wears it curly and it gives her beautiful volume. Also trimming the dead ends would make it look thicker. I mentioned this before but my one dog got bad ear infections until we switched her food. She is on Nutrience simple ingredients pork and apple and she has had zero infections! Worth spending more $ on a good food and that way you save $ on vet bills plus it makes the dog happier not being in pain from the ear infection.

My cat had non stop ear infections for three to four months till I changed her food to a more allergen friendly food. I don’t know for certain what she’s allergic to but blue buffalo food worked great. She’s had no infections in five years now

Our dog had the same ear problem that never got better we went to another vet & she said that dogs have allergies & not to give people food scraps. And sure enough she was right. No more yeast & infections. So sad for my dog, he loves scraps

I really dreaded my first mammogram because I thought it would be so awkward. But, you get a vest that opens in the front for a little modesty and comfort and those ladies act like it’s the most normal and casual thing in the world to be arranging your boob on a shelf. It’s like they are chit chatting with you while bagging your groceries or something. 😂

I hope ur mammo went well. U can't put products on after u shower bc there are chemicals in products that can actual obscure the view of the tissue inside the breast. U can take deodorant and lotion with u and apply when the exam in completed. It is better to just do it right the one time. If they can't see it clearly because of residual zinc or aluminium, they could ask u back or worse, miss something that needs to be further investigated. I haven't worked in Radiology since the digital system replaced actual film so it maybe less of an issue with this tech. I still follow the instructions bc I was fortunate to have a small growth caught and removed when I was 40 and although that means annual follow up I have not had any recurrence in over a decade. It is very normal to feel exposed sitting around topless, it is something most of us do in an office setting. It is worth it, you are worth it.

SO SORRY your back was hurting you. When friends have dyed my hair or their own, they use the kitchen sink to wash their hair out from the dye. That is an option for you going forward maybe.
