It’s nothing you are doing wrong Julie its just prices are rising and people can tell the difference now. Only advice would be try Aldi and Lidl and also substitute branded for supermarket own brand where you can. Don’t shop when hungry either. Take care.

Agree! Also cooking instead of premade. Mac n cheese and mash potatoes made yourself is much cheaper than premade, and you get more bang for your buck. It also doesn't take long. Jamie Oliver has some lovely easy recipes. Julie, ready steady COOK!

i would suggest cooking your own meals rather than buying, readymeal also maybe try some of the non branded stuff, it can taste just as good depends what you buy, also keep the bottles of water and refill from the tap rather than buy again :) good vlog xx

I must admit we had been shopping in sainsburys but found the prices going up. Now we shop weekly at Aldi and spend between £65-£70 with a few extras like milk and bread in the week. We have noticed that we are keeping costs down. I also go through the freezer each week to see what we can use which helps. Love your vlogs each week xx

Well the answer is : plenty of ready meals (mac and cheese, curry etc), or already pre-made things such meat balls, sweet potato vedges etc. I can do all what you bought for £50 as I prepare the meals myself.

Your shop would cost a lot less if you cooked your own meals rather than buying ready meals. It's quite easy and cheap to make macaroni cheese and a curry. And it would save you money to make your own wedges and mash rather than buying everything ready made and prepared.

Yes food shopping has gone up I tend to shop at Sainsbury’s for my branded stuff but also at Aldi‘s for fruit and veg try and keep out of the middle aisle! I think your shopping is so expensive because you are buying a lot of ready meals e.g. mash potato you can do that yourself so much cheaper and home-made curries, macaroni cheese, meatballs etc for a fraction of the price that they sell them at Plus you can bulk them out with things like lentils and plenty of veg. Love your wax melt burner. New to your channel and enjoying your vlogs

In regards to the food shop, there didn't seem enough food for £80. I suggest this is what i do, shop at Aldi trust me it is life changing, then certain bits that Aldi don't do go to Tesco's or Sainsbury's or Asda. Don't do all your shop in one supermarket. And also try and buy things in bulk so for the mash potatoe buy a bag of potatoes that you can use up doing different things with same with the sweet potato. Sometimes the prepared things are more expensive, don't always go for branded things either. Instead of having two different milks just have one. And plan what your cooking each night, cook from scratch, save some and put in the freezer for another meal. Don't buy water, it's a waste of money, just use the tap especially if you're at home. But trust me Aldi is brilliant for prices! Give it a try and do a video and show us what you've bought.

Hi Julie, hope you're feeling better now. I know exactly what you're feeling after the 2nd vaccine. I was fine with the 1st and thought it was a doddle getting the 2nd as a neighbour of mine said he had no symptoms but his wife had top and bottom symptoms lol. I just felt nauseous. 3rd vaccine I was top and bottom and asking myself why did I have it!! But it only lasted a day, I've heard other people have unfortunately been bedbound for a week or more so I was pretty lucky. I hope you're OK when you have the booster! Have to say your a trooper because a lot of people would have ordered takeaways until they felt better but you cooked! Luckily for my husband and myself, our son ordered us food, unfortunately we couldn't eat it so it worked out perfectly for him 🙃. Anyway, take care and stay strong. Let us know how you're feeling 😊

There are two of us at home and we spend on average about £95pw on groceries, that said, I do have a habit of stock piling things so it would be less in essence, and I also tend to not look at prices until I am half way around - but that does get a full weeks worth of meals, veggies, fruit and other non essentials that I may randomly throw in and hoard, so not too shabby. Sorry to see you're not feeling well - I was exactly the same after the first one, it really knocked me sideways for five weeks, I had never felt so ill and the cough that developed was horrendous, had xrays the lot as couldn't understand why I was feeling so ill, needless to say it frightened me for the second one. Hope you feel better soon though. xo

I completely get what you mean about the side effects, although for me, I haven't had any from the first 2 vaccines, it is my booster for me. Me and my mum went to my local COVID-19 Vaccination Centre, and I got my booster done yesterday morning. I was completely fine all day Friday, went to sleep at half eleven, and then I woke up at one, and I felt SO DEAD! I was absolutely bloody freezing, even though I had the thickest, warmest onesie on ever, I had a headache, my chest felt so tight, my stomach hurt, whenever I sat up, I felt so dizzy I just had to lay back down again, and I literally felt like I was going to throw up constantly. Eventually I went to the toilet at 4AM, and I had such a strong feeling that I was going to throw up, that I even tried to make myself throw up, so I leaned over the toilet and did the little 'stick your fingers down your throat' trick. Didn't work, and just made me feel worse. I went back to my room, but my parents' bedroom is opposite the bathroom, so my mum heard me in the toilet, and she went downstairs and got me some Calpol, so I was able to get back to sleep. I literally slept in after that until 12, had a really bad, pounding headache all day, literally felt like I couldn't even get out of bed. I was meant to finish my History homework for Sixth Form during half term, which was writing an essay, because it was half term this week. I just had one more paragraph to do, but I literally wrote one sentence because I could not concentrate. Did a lateral flow, because my younger sister got her booster vaccine a few weeks beforehand, and felt really bad, so took a lateral flow test the next day, and it came out positive, so the vaccine gave her COVID, basically. So, I was really worried it was that, but I took a lateral flow test, and I was negative, but I find that REAL hard to believe. Definitely not going back to Sixth Form on Monday, that's all I'm gonna say, because I still feel SO weak and horrible! I'm high risk as well, so maybe that's why I feel so bad, and maybe that's why it's gonna take a little bit longer for me to recover from the side effects. Apologies for this long essay of a comment. I did mention I was writing a History essay all week.

Just to let you know that the vaccine can’t give you covid as there is no live covid sample in it

@@brodiedevereux-burden2728 Oh, ok. Just that my sister had the vaccine and then tested positive the next day. But she did say that at least 5 other people in her class had got it and had positive tests, so maybe she got it off of one of them, actually. Thank you!

Yes food prices have gone up a lot. I don't notice it until I've piled it all through. Be careful about energy prices as well. Mine are going up 54% in April.
