@maseng77 I seriously think it's guilt, obligation, and confusion. He doesn't want Cara to get deported (bc she will die), and he is not 100% certain of where he and Dixie stand. Plus he does have feelings for Cara, but I think in the end, those feelings won't matter, because you are right - Cara may be his wife, but Dixie is his soul mate.
