Homemade lemonade is just on a different level and can’t compete with store bought!! A good use for my electric citrus juicer really works great for recipes that call for large amounts of citrus juice 🤩

I bet cranberries or cranberry juice would work too! Only thing is cranberries have such a strong taste to might change the flavor of the lemonade so maybe not. Thanks for sharing this. It’s perfect for this time of year

I like to use dried hibiscus flowers to achieve the pink coloring. Doesn't alter the taste and it also doesn't add any additional sugar...

Yep beets!! 👍 Believe it or not, that shade of lemon juice you have & burgundy were my Wedding colors & my Grandmother in law made the prettiest deviled eggs with, you guessed it, Beet Juice! The table setting was so gorgeous!! Everything was matching & the beautiful roses of pale pink to dark burgundy just flowed together so fine! Anyway, thank you for sharing this with us! I make lemonade a bit similar, but when making the sugar syrup I add the zest of 1-2 of the lemons, then strain it when the sugar is dissolved and the syrup has cooled a little. Lemon zest in lemonade adds just a little bit extra.

A way to make this even better if to scrape the lemon peel (just the yellow part!) And put it in a bowl with sugar until it absorbs all the lemon oil and becomes wet looking. After that you put hot water and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Then you use a strained to not get the peels in your drink and put that amazing lemon oil in the lemonade, ever since I tried making lemonade like that It's the favorite way of doing it :)

Beet juice! Love it. Def gonna try this. I use grenadine in mine and it just adds perfectly to the lemon flavor and gives it a pretty pink color as well.

I’m not sure because I hate beet juice as a drink. It’s so healthy though. I give it to my kids mixed with purple grape juice when they have stomach viruses and it wipes it right out. You could also just buy a fresh beet and juice it or even the juice in a can of plain beets will work.
