I do love the deep dive, but using lots of products also helps me. I have some very disparate craft items, mostly from FOMO! I admit to being an impulse shopper, purchasing things that are popular at the moment. Short answer: deep dive. I often end up with useful pieces after I make a card, but I usually save them for another day (often the next session, but rarely do I use the same supplies for two cards on the same day). I don't have the physical ability to create a bunch of looks in one session, but I do try to think of different ways to use the supplies I have, and I am happiest with (and more often use) things that easily lend themselves to multiple approaches. I have a few scene-setting die sets that have some potential, but there are so many pieces and it's all so fussy that I usually reach for things that are simpler but can be used multiple ways, so I've learned to resist the temptation of more really cute but fussy sets. (It's nice to have a few of those for a change of pace, but I don't need a whole library of them.) I really like your stenciling videos, though I have to admit kaleidoscopic things (and the tools that make them easier) aren't my thing. (Just offering one data point.)

Great video again. I went to the hairdresser so I watched it a day later. I like deep dives. It also gives you the feeling of playing which gives much less pressure when creating! You can use your stencil also as an embossing folder which gives other new possibilities. See you next time!

I definitely love the deep dive with a single product. I often do this when I get a new stampset, especially if it is one that requires coloring. I stamp a big stack and then pair up half of the stack with paper but not the other half. Then I let the stack that is paired with paper, have the colors dictated by the paper. The other stack I randomly color and then challenge myself to match them up to paper. It helps me to use up paper that might not have gotten used and it also challenges me to color my images with colors that I may not have picked! The deep dives with one product help me to get the most out of things I have purchased and seeing others do the deep dives too helps me to see other ways something may be used and also helps me determine if the product is something I would use (if I don't own it).
