Secluded Wooded Pond Produces WILD Mixed Bag!! (Washington Duck Hunting)

Looking back at the first day of our west coast tour, which brought us dense fog and zero wind, our buddies at Team Deadfowl have a little spot they love to hunt every now and then when the birds get just right. We spent a good portion of the morning pre-shooting light clapping birds out of 6 dozen F1 mallards and a dozen F1 Canadas, and it was apparent we were hunting there at the right time. The dense fog provided a lot of "surprise ducks" that just appeared! We were even more surprised when we scored an odd-ball aviary band! As you all have seen by now in our other videos from this stretch, we started this trip with just as big of a bang as we finished it!

I think it's just the camera lens making it look farther. Judging by the distance the dog is running they're not too far shots. Probably 30 yards.
