My area isn't known for gold. But I have been lucky enough to find gold and diamond rings twice. Not using a metal detector. One I found in a grocery store lot while I was loading groceries in my car.

We all love you, Pauly! ❤ I hope you find truck loads. I'm a disabled RN, who has found a couple of gold nuggets in the N. Carolina mountains at my uncle and aunt's house. It was just laying in a clear water stream with agates and other beauties. I didn't know much about geology then; I was nursing full time. Anyway, I really didn't know what I had until it disappeared off my display shelf when I noticed my jar wasn't there. Oh well. My current area in southeast Alabama has no gold that I'm aware of. It would be nice to sit on the bank and pan just to learn how.
