I recently teamed up with Miami Food Tours to showcase their Wynwood Food Tour. Omar took me around to a handful of delicious restaurants on South Beach, Wynwood and the Design District. Here is the Diverse Flavors of Miami Food Tour!

We started our tour at Bella Cuba restaurant on South Beach. Here we had a colada coffee and some delicious Cuban pastries. From there the Swoop Ride picked us up and drove us to Wynwood.
We learned a bit about the history of Miami before hitting up La Latina Venezuelan restaurant. Here we ate some delicious arepas and tequenos, my favorites!
Next we drove into the Design District and visited Mandolin Aegean Bistro. This restaurant serves a mix between Greek and Turkish food. We had some Hummus, Taziki and Tirokafteri plus some delicious Greek white wine.
Now let's head into Wynwood where we quickly tour the Wynwood Walls and then visit Wynwood Kitchen and Bar. This is a gastro latin food restaurant, we got some Short Rib Flautas and Garlic Shrimp with a delicious craft beer.
Lastly we head to BunnieCakes to try some delicious hand crafter cupcakes. They were probably the best cupcakes I have ever tried in my life!

That black bean and avocado arepa looks so amazing! But I have a feeling I would never have wanted to leave the Mandolin Aegean Bistro, because I'm a sucker for good Mediterranean food, especially good hummus. I can seriously eat it all day, and on just about anything! The vegan and gluten-free cupcakes at BunnieCakes look like they're right up my alley, too. I have to go there someday! Not promoting or justifying any practices.. But if you notice in india, everything is hot be it butter or ghee r melted before consuming it(in liquid form).. No one follows rules but still.. As per aureveda, all the fatty products should be eaten as hot as possible.. it gives very good benefit like joint pain relief etc.. but in western world everything is eaten cold n it cause a lot of problem like heart , digestion etc.. Guys just think for a min, ancient people have researched about all this things.. Ancient practice are vage most of the time but they have identified few things which are extraordinary.. please dont eat anything fatty cold as we dont have a work regime as older generations..

After watching the video, i feel one thing.. Cuban people dont have much vegetation in their country( or they r obsessed with meat)n don't understand the beauty and taste of vegetable.. I am not saying you should only eat vegetable or just raw vegetable like salad.. if you just eat meat n bread then heart n liver is gonna cry forever..

The video doesn't showcase all of the staple foods eaten often by Cuban people. There are ample dishes that utilize rice, beans, plantains, cassava, potato, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, etc. However they were not show in this video.
