I have always tried to dare to be myself. When I went to high school, I was bullied, long with curly hair and protruding teeth and home-made clothes by my grandmother and an old pink ladies bicycle. "A pure hell for three years." Then I decided to go my own way. I sewed my first shock-green outfit as a 17-year-old and made everyone lose their breath in the light hall at Rudbeckian Gymnasium where we Technicians studied biology. It got pretty quiet when I came in. In Tanzania, where I worked for 7 years at a vocational school, I went out and bought fabric and then to the tailor. This year on Midsummer's Eve I turn 60 and my dream project this time is a pink suit with gold shoes and 12 silk shirts, all made to measure by a tailor in Thailand. After taking this video, I went for a walk at the Mall of Scandinavia and it was great to meet everyone with smiles, thumbs up and positive comments. Many clerks thought that I was a photo model, what can one not be at Vattenfall! ..... my new career! But it is not entirely easy to stand out from the crowd. Many people are terrified when they see someone who dares to be him or herself. The reaction is to bully the one who stands out instead of rejoicing and being inspired. If you are bullied and learn to accept beatings without giving back, rulers feel this. It has actually happened that I have been bullied at work. So this diversity campaign is very important and fulfills a function for the psychosocial work environment that is so important to be happy and productive at work. Those who are creative and are bullied, feel that all energy goes out of their body and the job. So letting people to be who they are, adds value to the work. There is help to get for the person who has been bullied, to process what you have been through, to recognize the situation yourself, to learn new attitudes-patterns of action and to speak out. Usually you are too kind to draw the red card. Here, in fact, colleagues can help and tell the bully that this is not acceptable and that this is unacceptable behavior and to simply suggest breaking up to meet. For those who like clothes like me, it is fantastic to meet all well-dressed colleagues in Solna who put so much effort into their clothing. I learned in the elevator from a college that the socks can not be black for a completely two-tone suit. You are welcome to say that I became a clothing nerd in my old age and came out of the colorful wardrobe. There is a second wideo comming later with only me and my college Malin in only pink. Let’s make the world pink and dare to be inspired when meeting people standing out instead of looking askance. Let us also dare to create a bad atmosphere when our colleagues/fellow human beings are mistreated ☝️💓 Thank you for sharing ☺️

@@gegege720 yes we need to sensitise ourselves and see and conclude that this is bullying. Then have courrage to step in and break and stop this.
