Awesome! One of favorite things about the 4th of July. love fireworks. My area canceled them because it's to dry here in the west. So I really appreciate you sharing with us. Your small city did a great job. Thanks Jayling! Really enjoyed it! 🎆🎊😀😊

I was wondering if the fireworks were cancelled out west. I'm kinda glad they were with your conditions being so dry. Please stay safe, Sheila :)

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I have mixed feelings about fireworks. We live in the middle of what is considered "resort" areas in lower Michigan. Surrounded by multiple displays ( professional and not) since last Friday (it's now Monday). We could see several from our house, but hear (and feel) many others. ONE, at Devils' Lake in Manitou Beach, was considerate enough this year to be silent. It was still beautiful. We watched it in the eastern sky from our house while several to north/northeast of us boomed away on Saturday night. The noisy ones seemed extra loud this year. I feel bad for the animals and the people who are terrified by all the noise. Like our four year old cat, who hid behind the washing machine every night. One 7 yr old cat who doesn't mind it actually left the back yard picnic table to sit out front with my husband to stare toward all the commotion. I stood in the doorway, away from any mosquitoes. Last night, everything seemed like it was in our back yard. No one lives behind us-there is an alley down the hill, a small recycling factory, a small street after that, and houses on the local mill pond. So it probably wasn't as close as it seemed, but I didn't appreciate it and neither did our cats. Or the local wildlife, I am sure.

I do worry about the animals also. The strays that live around here, well I feed them each night, but they must've been hiding for a good part of the evening as they weren't munching at their usual time. Anyway, hope all is going well for you up there. :)

Hi again DJ, it is Thursday July 16th here and the sky finally became clear enough to look at Jup. and Sat. at about 11 pm. yesterday. At that time Jup. was located about 120E at about 40 deg. high. To find Sat. I spread my left hand as wide as I can and moved it as if writing an arc in the sky. I could successfully find Sat. a bit higher than Jup. Good to see both of them again. Hope you will also have clear sky soon and take care. Nite

Hello Motoy! I'm glad you finally had a clearing over there to see the 2 big guys. We're still stuck under loads of clouds with storms storms and more storms, and the forecast continues just like that. This has been a terrible year so far in trying to do any skywatching, even worse than last year which was pretty bad in itself. Anyway, please take care of yourself and I hope you have a lovely rest of your week. :)

OMG I flew to California on the 4th and got to see fireworks from above as we landed. When I got to my friends house he was in an area that was mostly Hispanic and man they love their fireworks !!!!!!!!!!!! It was like war of the worlds every car alarm in the area was going off building shaking and it lasted until the sun came up. They had plows cleaning up the debris the next morning!!!!!! I am not even exaggerating xD. Also got to do some stargazing in the eastern Sierra's OMG the milky way was so Good out there :).
@Jayling3 жыл бұрын
Wow, it sounds like you had a blast over there! I'm really glad you had a chance to view the Milky Way in the Sierras - that would've been awesome. Take care now. :)

I'm impressed; if that is a "small city" in Ohio, must do something really big for the larger ones. Very nicely recorded. Sad to say, we had about this much going off just in our neighborhood...until after 1:30AM this morning.

Same here, I don't think the neighbors stopped until around 4am or so over here. A banging night it was! :)

Next time try doing manual focus and actually defocus the lens to get that bokeh effect looks much better in my opinion. One mans opinion
@Jayling3 жыл бұрын
I did use manual focus and manual settings but preferred to get the streams more in focus than bokeh(ish). Just an old ladies prerogative :)

Hey, happy 4th of july. But I must ask you, is Venus spikey right now In my sky's she is . And I'm not drunk. Haha
@Jayling3 жыл бұрын
Hiya Stan. Currently I haven't had much of a chance to see Venus as it's been either stuck behind clouds or behind houses and trees for me. But after the Sun goes down, Venus will be over in the Western sky and kinda low at about 10° above the horizon after the sun sets, so there isn't much time to see it before it goes below the horizon when it's dark enough out to see it. :)

@@Jayling and, by the way, I'm in Thailand. If that makes a difference.
@Jayling3 жыл бұрын
About the only difference with location is that by the time your sun sets over there, Venus & Mars will be a bit higher in the sky than for me, at around 17-18° above the horizon. Both of those planets will be close to one another over in the West. Good viewing to you. :)

The moon is flat and it has a dome. When you go outside and you see the moon ... What you're seeing is the moon inside our dome and the moon is stuck to the dome of Earth with suction cups.
@Jayling3 жыл бұрын
For goodness sakes, why in the world would you interject your own indoctrinated assumptions into my Fireworks video? The topics aren't even related. I'm growing quite weary of this round vs flat vs concave stuff. I've kindly asked people to take those conversations elsewhere and hope that you'll honor my request. Thank you.
@trevorforrester31423 жыл бұрын
@@Jayling LOLOLOL. It was a joke. I was being sarcastic. A person would have to be an idiot to believe the moon is suspended by suction cups LOL.. But there are people who do and those are the ones I was making fun of. I'm with you... I agree with all your work... I've watched your channel for a long time. I thought you'd get a good laugh out of it. I'm sorry.. didn't mean to upset you. .

Hi. Can you do more videos on the moon for me please? I believe the moon create everything feminine on this planet and the sun created everything masculine... from animals to plants to bees and humans and so forth. The moon is the sun's wife. That's why man is supposed to marry woman and not woman and woman or man and man.. (you can not get a tv to work by plugging it into another tv plug.. you have to plug it into an outlet.. the train goes thru the tunnel,, not crashes into another train or into a wall.. when we wall thru a door opening we are going into or out of.. not walking into a door or wall. If there was ever a great sin it would be to cheat on your loved one. The sun and moon frowns upon that) Something about this thing they're giving off that we humans refer to as "light".. it is definitely something more than that. It "energy" for a lamer way of stating it.. but they're both even more than just energy. They are beings. Spiritual beings.
