Ending Scene always hits me so deeply. Sam and IU really created a masterpiece.

Butterfly is about a 'someone' as delicate as a butterfly and BTS is singing about how they're afraid to even touch that person cause they're scared it will get disturbed and die and this is causing them a lot of anxiety. This "someone" not only means a person that they love but also symbolic of their mental state and how delicate it is and they're afraid that it'll get disturbed and then they're will be no way back. Namjoon lyrics referencing Kafka on the shore-"Kafka on the shore, don't go to those woods"....Kafka on the shore is a book by murakami namjoon once recommended ....and the woods imply afterlife, death....while he first cries out in his rap "don't go to the woods!"...he ends his verse by saying "my heart still breaks into pieces for you, that melts black and flows down, I just want to evaporate away like this" ....making this song about suicide and the anxieties of a disturbed mind. This is one of my favorite songs of all time.

I got that too....this song's so beautiful. Their voices. There is just something about namjoon's song writing that just Pierces ur soul. Hwa Yang yon Hwa album series I feel is one of the greatest albums of this gen. The detail, the way BTS captured youth and the good times, the anxieties etc that comes with it to a point. Chills.

I so agree with everything he said, especially the guitar part, it's just beautiful to listen to songs with guitar instrumentals in the background which is why I absolutely love listening to Eric's songs, his beautiful voice paired with a relaxing background guitar is just too powerful... And I would love you to teach us more Korean. I think so many fans want to learn the Korean language but can't because of reasons and I found it extremely interesting to have you teaching us. And yes moist is a weird word but in German (my home country) it's even worse. It's "feucht" (I'm cringing at my own native language right now haha). Just type it into the google translator and you'll know what I mean lmao. Loving your commitment to the content you make but you should rest way more, we don't want you to just die on stage you know? First of all my deepest deep cut is "Colors" by Day6 that song just hits me in some kinda way everytime I hear it. I always blast it full volume. I do love the new version but the original from The Day is just a classic. Two other Deep cuts are "Wonder" and "How'm I Doing" by the prestigious Eric Nam. Like I relate to "How'm I Doing" in my own relationship and "Wonder" just hits me in a similar way to Colors, albeit a bit less dramatically.

I highly recommend 'Find You' by Monsta X. It's become a song with a special meaning for Monbebe with lyrics like "the image of you that remains without being erased // I will find you whenever and wherever you are". Its sentimental lyrics contrasts with the hard hitting, fast tempo title tracks they're known for. 'U R' from the same album is also one of my favorites. 'Lost in the Dream' and 'Destroyer' are closer to the style MX are known for but Kihyun just kills it in those.

I actually think Butterfly is quite a typical bts song of that time. I was personally a huge fan during that "era" and a lot of their songs had this magical element to them. Perhaps now it is full on and high on energy but I think that specific period in their artistic development was full of little candy for the ear.

I feel like the b-sides on Tear are all incredible. 134340 is beautiful.
