Thanks for posting this level of detail as it really helped in the repair of my Scooter, my only feedback is that the mounting blocks that come with the scooter when new are too brittle, All of my blocks have cracked or shattered due to the polymer that was used being too brittle, have now replaced all of the original mounts with 3 D printed mounts and they work perfectly.

What glue do you use to glue the reed switch? The switch reed switch was damaged, I checked it electronically. I need to replace it and I don't know how to remove the old reed switch. I mean 6 minutes 22 seconds into the video. Use some solvent ?

does it come assembled? or do you have to put it together? probably a stupid question, I'm sure it comes assembled

for what is that blue wire in the anderson connector? is that 18v from 1 dewalt battery because the 2 batteries are in series ?

Have you done any testing with new dewalt 15AH batteries? Probably over kill

Based on initial impressions of these new 15Ah batteries coming out soon, it appears that these new packs will be too long to stack end-to-end inside the BlackTip body tubes, which is disappointing. These fit issues will most likely apply to all other Dive Xtras PTB scooters as well.

@@divextras that's unfortunate, perhaps a modification to where the batteries mount.... mounts on the tube in a future update can accommodate them.

Depending on the model of BlackTip, it will accept either two or four batteries. Here is an excerpt from our website regarding which batteries are compatible with our scooter: "The BlackTip accepts 20v (USA only) or 18v DCB-format power tool batteries.
