There are some historical inaccuracies, firstly the Nazi’s would not have thought the other German States inferior, because they are the same race. Secondly the German Empire was a federation, where each state had it’s own army and policies, so they would have just copied the same format, meaning the states would have kept there kings .Lastly, there is still time get Wilhelm before he dies. (What happened to Bavaria’s king?)

Not even finished with the series yet I'm already succumbing to the urge to just express my admiration of this masterpiece in the comments. The monopoly of nations is on another level as compared to other mapping videos. The strategies, manipulation, alliances and back-stabbing, finding the righteous cause and the right path to take for the best future for every nation, and even more - all of these materials are just making this masterpiece even better. I can see clear character development in a lot of the nations too. Also, Pomerania's desperate cry for help before finally falling to the communists, Holstein not being trusted when he's telling the truth of the Franco-Soviet alliance, Anhalt back-stabbing Brandenburg and even more scenes like those, are just so exciting and cool. Makes me want to continue watching. Brandenburg is also a really cool main character, having a dream, trying to be in control and being used by others. Idk if Brandenburg is truly good or not at this point but Brandenburg seems like a Brutus to me. Really cool plot and characterisation of nations. Well done, LiquidLake Edit: Just finished watching the whole thing, and IT'S SO GOOD, I did not expect a German defeat tho, but Brandenburg's right, their spirit would live on. This is so good, you know it's good when a fictional scenario's characters' speeches and experiences could sway your heart and feelings. And the other German states helping Brand., the betrayal of the Nazis, Poland being kind but backfired, and the unification of Germany (spiritually eventually) are so emotional. Once again, great job Liquid Lake! The characterisation of the characters are extremely cool too. France is the one who holds on a grudge for too long and always blames everything on others but himself, taking extreme measures to not have Germany return but kept being deserted and finding the wrong allies, Communist France is the one who made France realise his mistake, Hannover is the one who is selfish and hated but eventually sided with the "good side", Brandenburg is the tragic hero and protagonist of the plot who actually just wishes the welfare of Germany, Bavaria and Poland are the loyal friends, Anhalt is the manipulator who caused all the mess, Mecklenburg (and Koenigsberg, a little bit) are those indifferent and annoying bystanders (for most of the plot) who just make sarcastic comments, though eventually joining the coalition for the greater good, and Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union are the evil antagonists who are the main masterminds and causes of all the chaos in Europe, and a jerk to their allies thinking they are superior, though the former failed while the latter succeeded. Found out there's a Season 2 tho, hyped for it!

I’m just at the end of the first episode, btw I found this video randomly, and I love it. I’m french and I know through says, songs, legacy, and so long, that my country have been horrified of WW1... but through the same things, I totally understand that our brave German brothers were feeling exactly like us. The point is that they lost... and we won. But at what cost ? Our harsh victory gave us pride, but also fear that it could happen again. For our cousin on the other side of the Rhine, there harsh defeat gave them a «Diktat» (that I know was, yes... , « fair for the time », and if German would have won, they would have done the same), and a fear that an humiliation like that, could happen again. Like opposed things, France and Germany couldn’t existe whiteout the other. Why did Charlemagne didn’t hold his kingdom united ?? And when will our two nations be reunited ? Patriotism : +10😉

SUMMARY: As the German Empire collapsed, two of the German states, Brandenburg struggles to reunite all states into one German nation. As a result, France will do anything to halt the reunification of Germany.

Ok 3 things: 1. Poland is the true hero in this. 2. Why didn't Germany make it seem like the communists are crossing the border to the British puppet-state. This whould have dragged them into a war with the Soviets as well. I mean, sure they are a democracy but America shows that even democracys can do this. 3. Why didn't Brandenburg or later Germany whitepeace the French and reverse? They where both under attack from the same enemy, maybe even more powerful then Germany and France combined. (Since they both are in ruins at that point.) They could not have joined in an alliance because either troups crossing the others border would have looked like an attack from by the public. But a whitepeace should have been ok. They, at the end at least, didn't even had an border with each other anymore. But of course I know it's just an fictional scenario, a damn good one. Good Job! 👍🏼
