For the past few months Jaipur’s Galta Gang have managed to keep their lives pretty much in the balance. But as the world-wide economy plummets one troop of wild-living rhesus macaques are about to pay the price for their luxury lifestyle. The Galta Gang now face a big problem. Not only is there less food on offer at the temple, as the troop numbers expand there are also more mouths to feed. The little food that is offered by pilgrims is seized by Rani, Kamal and her immediate family, a sign that friction and a divide in the troop has already started. It’s a time where friendships are challenged; lives placed on the line and family bonds tested to the limit.

This is 100percent man's fault. I don't see how anyone is surprised by this.. WE GOT THEM accustomed to being fed , thus slowly taking away their natural ability to find food and sustain themselves... This is a perfect example of man's misguided belief that we are somehow helping these cute little animals out.. but they aren't cute little animals when they begin to rebel and attack.. The ppl of that part of the world created that mess, now let them deal with the outcome

Poetryinmotion1018 I agree 100% with you. I don't think they are cute but a big problem. They should have been thinned out a long time ago. Yes, euthanize or hunt them like the US hunts deer to keep the population down. No way would I have fed disease carrying wild animals in the first place. They are pests and I don't see much good . Maybe a lab study, train them to be in a circus or perhaps dress them up & parade them around like people in Asia and they are circus clowns or jesters. Although they can beg for food pretty good too. Now they have overpopulated themselves that the people don't know what to do! This is a horrific mess and they are tearing down anything in the way. These people created this problem hopefully they will figure it out. How do you downsize these monsters?

The elder mothers need to be fixed and some of the males to need be fixed as well to knock the population down. If the store owners would make a feeding station for all shops in one area away from the stores it might knock some of the invasions down. Shop owners keep foods and sweets locked up behind windows and bars. It wouldnt stop it but it would slow them down from coming into the stores.

@Robin-rj8vg 4 ай бұрын
@@louisgrrl4622 just like I'd guess that you're aware that the untouched reason the earth are also the only places not filthy to the point of being totally destroyed. Between the garbage,sewage,chemicals, plastics, poisons and the general filth humans seem to drag along with them everywhere they go, once they plant their nasty behinds on Tunis untouched areas, or won't be long at all before they are kudzu as trashed as everything thing else they touch is. The glaciers are meltimg,global warming is getting worse every day, more and more animals are becoming extinct. We don't even go for endangered or seems, we just shoot right past it to extinct. I find the huge pile of garbage that's roughly the size of what , Rhode island isn't it, anyway it's floating around on the ocean. The rivers in Florida are so polluted the grasses that the manatees live on are dying so the over 1000 manatees starved to death last year. Not to mention they can no longer rake for clams Since the water is too filthy. Ib don't even know how many of the coral reefs are dead and dying, thanks to ...MAN. Along with those, how many species of fish are also dying of? I find out fascinating that all these animals can live and not only survive, but thrive on vast areas of their natural habitat, and no matter how long they are there, the jungle also thrives and grows.. Every single time everything is brought down to ruin happens when mankind gets their grubby hands involved. Also I highly doubt that the baboons living there caught a plane train, or drove a car to get there. I'm fact, I'm pretty sure they've lived there for God knows how long. The fighting started when man decided to move on and build golf courses on the land they forage on, houses in what was once the forests they had their tree homes in, restaurants and apartments and stores everywhere. Oh, and while we're at it , let's pave every square inch of dirt in sight... ever heard That song, they paved paradise and put up a posting lot.

Females do not abandon their infants for any reason. If an infant is found the mother is dead a family member who has list to death or a newborn or infant can take the surviving primate as their own. Sometimes higher ranked monkeys take the infants from their mothers as punishment or higher ranked juvinals steal them to play mother for a while to care for but have no milk to give some will allow pacifying but that is only to calm the infant not to feed it and that is very rare. Newborns and onto young infants suck many times a day with the thiefs and many surrogates will drop thr infants and run off to find new things to do monkeys to steal fight for food and territory etc.... for infant they do not get first molars until 3.5 months old needed to to grind harder foods so the infants have to scrounge about for soft foods which the hyarchicky prefures for their themselves. Most food taken from markets have a few bites out of it and left to rot on the roof tops. The place smells very badly and people really could care less to clean up the towns villages cities. Its pretty bad to see and smell. What these animals can do to crops private gardens is impressive given less than 5 minutes everything is pulled bitten here and there thrown to the ground no longer clean for humans to eat it is wasted and rotting. People there are creating their problems with these animals. Stop feeding them and they will go back to their regular breeding seasons and migration paths.

You guys should invest in a vet and animal control to help take an reduce the population. They say if there is no food or shelter they will move on to search for their needs. You are supplying all they need.if you plant more fruit trees and food for healthy nutrition then why would they leave their home in the forest. It takes a village to get things done sometimes. Here's a thought, Chester made it as alpha not because he was qualified for the job, but because he fell on his head and everyone felt sorry for him and, he was an ambivalent young chap, so the group gave him the job as alpha, now note, I'm stopping at alpha because I don't know how Chester identifies or what his pronouns are, in any event, his group failed because it was built on a house of cards where the the other group's followed the law's of nature and succeeded. Reminds me of a similar story but instead of the leader's name being Chester it was Joe and Joe was given a job he was unqualified for, as well. Joe too ensured his family was protected, and Hunter did anything he wanted to anyone, much like the offspring of the Alphas observed in the research, much like them, Hunter knew he was above the law because of the group he came from and his father's status in the group. So I'll make this short and sweet, the moral of the story is "Monkey see Monkey Do. I would like to state for the record that the researchers did an excellent job in collecting data on these monkeys and presenting it in a way that was very interesting, it was an awesome video to watch. Thank you so much.

Tell me is Tony trump? you know what that really is a good analogy seeing as though Tony was mean resentful conniving and had the most infants by several different monkeys. Let's not get started on don jr or the other one as the blond brothers ignored and unwanted. Wow this is easy huh?

They shouldn't be fed let alone feeding them high sugar fruits and human junk food. It causes them to be obese and health problems like diabetes. It also is part of the reason the population is out of control because the sugar and high sugar fruits are screwing with their breeding cycles and all that extra energy they have goes right back into reproduction. So instead of having 1 baby a year or every other year, they're sometimes having 2 babies a year. Sterilizing them hasn't even made a dent because the females aren't being sterilized. So you basically have just a fewer amount of males knocking up all the females.

@tatertott2390 Can you imagine the sugar-high these little guys must have been on after binging on all the candy and sweet drinks the tourist and the V.O. s give them - kind of like having a furry tornado land in your back yard (!).

Oh yeah? And what are you gonna do when it's NOT a baby anymore? These animals get big fast, and the older they get, the less you can control them. But I'm sure you've done the proper research to make such a request, right? I mean, only a real idiot would proclaim to want one of these things as a pet, knowing full well that they can live to over 30 years old, not to mention the tens of thousand of dollars you will need in the first few years alone, for diapers, food, formula, medical bills, permits, the enclosure. But of course, you know all of this, because only a fool would make a statement like that without properly researching a wild animal, and ready all of the articles that clearly state that these are NOT PETS. Or are you one of those people that thinks they stay babies forever, and only want one for your own selfish reasons, basically wanting a hairy moving doll to dress like a fool and show off to others. And maybe the age thing doesn't even matter to you, as you will kill it like all of the KZbin monkey torture porn channels, before it can hit puberty, destroy your home, try to rape your face, then bite it off. Get a cat.

When they are little they are ver malleable and easy to be around. As they grow they start to become difficult to care for, jumping all over the place……slapping, hitting, pinching, kicking and biting. At that point it becomes more of a contest for who will be in control, the human or the monkey. They are all about domination and control. If you are not prepared to discipline them in a physical sense: spanking, hitting, ETC. Then they will take control and make you frightened of them. Many people who have adopted monkeys say that when they get older they are terrified of them. If you’re not pre pared to discipline them physically, I wouldn’t recommend getting one, because they become violent for control.
