Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I commend them for going to the lengths that they did, these people not only held Mia’s life long possessions hostage but also damaged them too. Even if I had a full time job I would do what they did too

I'd include that in the damages they did to us. It was fortunate we were able to put the time into that, but that was time we should have spent on generating income, especially after all we've lost recently. So, yet another way they got us. But, if it helped other people, we're happy. I know some other people who have been dealing with these guys have really had it bad. Some people have been waiting over 6 months and still don't have their bed, clothing, furniture, more personal family things. One guy who moved across the country was told he could go to the warehouse and pick his stuff up by the owner. The warehouse being on the other side of the country, where he moved from... and if he doesn't go get the stuff, they'll auction it off. For some people, that can happen w/o them even knowing. One lady almost had to bid on her own things. I can't imagine. So, we'll keep doing whatever we can on our end to make sure this is the end of their scamming (and hopefully people who've watched our videos know what to watch out for now)

Certainly better than them having zero consequences. Hopefully the trial is not kind to them. They've really messed up a lot of lives. They've drained a number of people of their savings and many have been w/o their belongings for over 6 months. Some people have some really terrible stories. As big of a headache as this was for us (and costly!!!) it could have been much worse. Out situation is what "lucky" looks like in this case.

We've had a lot of anger building from a lot of stupid people who've taken advantage of us over the years, who got to keep doing their thing w/o consequences. This was it for us. We'll do everything we can to make sure this is the end of their scamming. We may be going to court to testify. If they need us, we'll be there.

These guys really got greedy. They could have inflated prices like 10% or so, and customers would have never known. Like, who knows exactly how much moving all your stuff costs? You expect it to be a lot. But, what they were doing was so clearly a scam, and they did it to so many people the FBI was able to get involved.

I'd honestly be shocked if we got money back, even for the damage they did. But we were in a group on FB with over 60 other people dealing with this. What we dealt with was horribly expensive and a huge pain, but many other people had far worse. So, either way we're doing what we can to make sure these scumbags don't keep doing it to more people.

I made him come back and do another coat. He did one coat, in the rain. Who ever heard of such a thing? I just had to glance at the can instructions for three seconds to see how many things he did wrong. There were red flags with him but he was the cheapest of the several quotes we got (also a red flag) but for our budget, it was him or us. We couldn't find anything about him that pointed to him being a scam. I'm not sure I'd call him a scammer, but he wasn't very good at what he did. If I were him I'd drop "deck restoration" from services he offers. The job he did was certainly one I could have done myself, and not even as good as what I used to do for my dad at his office as a teen. But... we paid him. Even after the 2nd coat we were not happy, and the work didn't hold up. I would love to have gotten our money back from him (it was still like $3K). But, that was nicer Bruno & Mia. We let it go. Yeah, we could have pushed it and given him trouble. He seemed nice. He has a family. His teen-son was there helping him. Eh. I want to say learning experience for us, but, we sorta knew it was risky. The other guys were quoting several thousand more, and that was not an option for us. Nor was losing what the movers stole. That was the final straw for us. Those guys can enjoy prison. Every time we're easy going and cool something happens to us. It's judgement time now!
