16:19 *THIS VIDEO PREDICTED THE FUTURE!!!!* 😎 If you're here from Twitter: Guy1 left us a comment below. *No, that was never the issue.* Guy1 posted a defamatory tweet at the exact same time his comment came in. Both 905PM Feb 6th. The tweet, both mocking us while hypocritically complaining about his own views was posted to rile up a very specific group of people, and that it did. 40,000 people saw it, and the ones who engaged believed Mia and I had attacked this guy based on what he posted. Meanwhile we were in our bed sleeping while the Twitter fire was burning. Blissfully unaware. Next morning we wake up to Twitter storm, and angry people across our social media, misinformed, thinking mean ol' Bruno attacked this poor college kid who looked up to him and was offering helpful advice. We were being cyber-bullied. *THAT* is what we were angry about. (Try actually watching this vlog, we attacked nobody. The end of the video talked about KZbinrs quitting, a trending topic on the platform, and said a lot of relatable things to us, which should not have offended PR fans. Guy1 somehow found this offensive, while continuing to NOT understand what we've been trying to communicate) What is Cyberbullying? (Read this whole thing, Guy1 wasn't the only one involved here...) ► *Cyberbullying* If the defamatory tweet is meant to harass, intimidate, or harm the targeted person emotionally or socially. CHECK ► *Character Assassination* If the intent of the post is to damage the reputation or character of the individual mentioned in the tweet. CHECK ► *Online Harassment* If the actions involve persistent, unwanted online behavior causing distress or fear to the targeted person. CHECK ► *Selective Engagement or Blocking* This refers to the act of blocking someone on social media to control the narrative and prevent the targeted person from responding or defending themselves. CHECK If Guy1, who is close friends with our biggest trolls (who've been doing this to us for a decade now), hadn't meant to send a mob, he had plenty of time to edit or remove the tweet when he saw his followers piling on. No context was given, and they believed we had attacked him. Again, we did not. Zero previous incidents with this person, no idea he was a hater. "Bruno attacked a college kid b/c he couldn't handle some respectful helpful constructive criticism!" *FALSE* A few rational people saw Guy1 was clearly the instigator and told him so. Guy1 was hurt and offended by their constructive feedback and felt forced into my DM to resolve the issue he started for no reason. Upon seeing I had a message from him, I went and removed my posts to prove I was acting in good faith before we even began speaking. This was presented as a "forced apology" yet it was me he wanted the apology from and issued additional demands or he wouldn't take the tweet down. I met the rest of his various demands and yet he wouldn't hold up his end and became arrogant, hostile, condescending, and blocked me. Little did I know this was part of a larger collaborative effort from the king of the ranger-Twitter-trolls. PwrRngr • Feb 10 MMPRtoys is continuing their unhinged, targeted harassment of a fellow PR 🤡 creator who is half their age, for simply expressing an opinion and ultimately trying to help. This is NOT what PowerRangers stands for. Now is the time to unsubscribe/block MMPRtoys for this behaviour. *FALSE* At this time, our side of the story had been removed from the internet as people continued to pile on. None of this happened. Guy1 defamed us on Twitter unprovoked, resulting in days of harassment, whether I engaged or not, and the misinformation spread with just three of the numerous tweets generating over 100,000 views on Twitter. Feb 9 is when I removed the paragraph on FB telling our people no, we hadn't attacked him. The 10th is when Guy1 blocked me on FB & Twitter, declaring "Negotiations fully off!" b/c he wouldn't keep his word. We hadn't posted anything new, and again, look, you're on our vlog channel. So, no, MMPRtoys had nothing to do with this, and we sure as hell didn't target and attack a fan. Don't be so easily manipulated by known Twitter trolls. At least five or six Twitter accounts that we weren't following in the first place, blocked us, so they could continue harassing. We're not on Twitter, don't follow these guys, never interact with them and have never once randomly attacked someone, as Guy1 did at least acknowledge early on in our private convo. These are small petty pathetic guys who have been angry at us since our channel got to be a larger channel. That's what it always comes back to, envy (as well as projection, and EPIC hypocrisy). We have a large Power Ranger channel, which got to be large by years of an insane schedule, consistently turning out fun unique content. They don't have what it takes to drive the kind of traffic that we have going into year 17. So, to them, talking about views is like "rich people problems" and it makes them jealous. I don't care how much money we have, we're not going to lose money on every video to entertain an audience that hates us. The main theme here is that the size of our channel comes with challenges unknown to smaller creators, we're there, they are not. This video tried to explain some of that, and resulted in seemingly half the fandom telling us off for understanding the complete opposite, and offering more bad advice b/c again, they don't know. These guys don't do what we do, and people who do, get it. That was what we were saying. So, I guess, thanks for proving my point, again, wish you understood though. Today they hate b/c "Bruno complained about views so he deserves to be cancelled!" But they hated us before this, so, what else has Bruno done? "Bruno's on the Power Force!" "Now more people are on Power Force, but Bruno's tier 1! No fair!" "Bruno gets preferential treatment from Saban!" "Those trips to Bandai must have been REAL nice!" "Bruno cancelled Sentai!" "Bruno encouraged fans to support Bandai Legacy releases to keep the line going!" "Bruno bought a house!" "Bruno owns a TV! And it's big!!!" "Bruno got ripped off by a guy who painted his patio and it was in a vlog four years ago!" "Bruno didn't invite me to his house after I started Twitter drama with him in 2014 the night before his PMC panel!" "Bruno talked to the rep at Toy Fair when I was standing there too!" And so on. (Yes, these are real instances, and not a comprehensive list by any means) (Guy1) has done more for the Power Rangers community in two years than Bruno has in the last ten. Bruno bought a big fancy house, got a big giant TV, whined about his patio 🤠🤣😂 and how much it cost to redo, but also screams at his audience for not giving more views or clicking links. ...for real, we read more hate in one week than in the past 16+ years combined, but I can't stop focusing on how one of these guys posted on a PR account that I bought a TV in 2017, as a reason for Power Ranger fans to boycott our Power Ranger channel. I can't even argue. It's true! Us "middle aged" professional film/video/animation/KZbin people do indeed own a television. I never thought that would be used in a Twitter war against us b/c we got cyber bullied. Sorry 'bout that...? Bruno and Mia got cyber-bullied, NIN-JA STEEL! Boohoo, my dudes, boohoo. Well, Bruno will live to offend you another day. I had an apple earlier, and put some peanut butter on it, be sure to tell your Twitter people about that too.

Honestly current generation PR stuff has got stale in my opinion. I loved seeing all of the legacy stuff but once that started to slow down as Hasbro took over it's been a weird spiral. I think the main reason trains aren’t loved as much is mainly due to how the US uses them compared to japan. In the US, we mainly use them to travel supplies and stuff and depending on where you live to travel to another state but in Japan, they use trains to get to school, to work and even to just visit friends or family. Rarely are cars used in Japan. It’s why Sentai made a season dedicated to trains due to their importance in Japan

Sentai also makes seasons dedicated to cars. And space ships. And dinosaurs. Pirates. Spies. Animals. Angeles. Ninjas. You get the idea. I know trains are a bit different in the US vs Japan, but Amtrak goes all over the country. Many if not all cities have unique trains (like in NJ we had New Jersey Transit, MetroLink, Surfliner, Subway, etc in CA, NYC Subway, LIRR etc in NYC) There are all sorts of vintage and scenic railways across the country. No Christmas tree is complete w/o a train going around it! Model RR is (or was) a major, massive hobby not just for little kids but for adults too. Trains are pretty everywhere. Toy trains were certainly more everywhere when I was a kid, but there's still Thomas and BRIO in stores, and there are still train shows and model train stores. I don't get it. And Lightspeed was 2000. You could still buy train sets at Toys R Us and KB Toys back then. Super Train was a pretty cool Megazord in general. I don't know what makes a plastic dinosaur a toy for adults but a plastic train a baby toy. To me it doesn't make sense, even with trains maybe being more important in Japan if you don't live somewhere like LA, NYC, Chicago, etc. (We have tons of trains here in PA too!)

I used those flat cars I bought at the train store. Same thing I did for ToQger, but these really aren't securely attached, I don't want to mess up this Super Train. It's the SMP version. If you had one you were willing to mess up, you could really make it perfect. But, for what I did, you're looking for maybe old used HO trains that the SMP cars can rest on/over. I think it was the MMPRtoys ToQger video where I showed one of the engines that would fit inside the rail rescue.

I’ve always seen YT as a hobby, unless it was paying out SIGNIFICANTLY more than my full time job. At least double to take that gamble to go full time. I’ve dabbled in YT for years I used to upload on daily (the pandemic helped as I was home all the time) and now it’s more when I feel like it. It was awesome seeing the channel grow and views but I hit a plateau so now the drive to keep going daily has died. I know you guys hit the boom back in the day but YT is so bloated these days it’s hard to find the good stuff. Have you thought of live streaming when you’re building the shelves or editing videos? I’ve seen others do that, people would tune in and probably donate in super chats for questions.

Trains are cool, but I think the sentiment in USA is that they’re kiddy toys (they’re simpler because they only go on a track, few exterior features compared to other vehicles), or they’re outdated (since the main form of transportation now is cars). I like trains in small doses. As to your lights, it’s a shame people judge so harshly. Yeah it’s not 100% accurate, but it’s close enough and looks cool. I do that all the time. I know what it’s like to work nonstop and never get the recognition or credit you feel you’ve earned. Sorry you guys continue to struggle with this. I just got laid off from a job I was passionate about and gave 110%, and while I will be looking for work and am confident that I will get something, that also gives me a little time to catch up on my passions. Not to make it about me but I empathize.

That continues to escape me. Trains were positively everywhere when I grew up. I lived in NJ, so we had New Jersey Transit. In NY there was the NY subway, a pretty major part of the city. There's also LIRR. Amtrak goes all over America. As a kid we used to take the auto train from Washington DC to Florida, which was really a lot of fun. Walt Disney was all about trains, which can be found all over his park. There are so many vintage train rides around the country, and many cities have their own train/tram/trolley/subway/etc. Airports have monorails. Those cross-country Amtrak videos have become all the rage on KZbin now. And it's usually older people who have these huge expensive layouts, not little kids. But, for whatever reason, plastic dinosaur toys were for adults, plastic train toys were for babies. Trains are such a great hobby & way to travel, it's a shame more people don't see that.

It's tough, for sure. Some of it's luck, but it's also a combination of making videos that are really good, AND being consistent. Even then, it could take years if it ever takes off at all. And in our case, we're just stuck and it's kinda too late to turn anything around. We didn't know what happened until it was too late. If you have a viral video or two for one thing, but the rest of your channel is different and you gain a ton of subs for the other thing, unless KZbin fixes that, you're just kinda screwed.

Bruno, this is the first video of yours I've watched in a while and it just makes me sad. I'm not trying to piss you off but over the years I've really lost my interest in your content not for the topic or either of you personally but because of your attitude. I started watching MMPRtoys back in 2011 and watched both it and DAO for the better part of a decade. I used to binge these vlogs while I did anything on the computer but now they just are so repeitive with the constant complaining and self pity. I get it, as the person behind Toku Topics I know what it's like to work so hard on a Power Rangers video just to send it out into the void and not feel like it was worth your time. I gotta ask though, legitamently what is your goal? You have been and still are one of the biggest Ranger accounts on this platform who is making content no one else is, and it's really really really good! The problem is that this franchise is too niche, there is a ceiling of success you can hit, and I think you have which is why you are stagnant. The self-entitlement led to me unsubscribe from both of your channels a few years back but I still hear about you all of the time from your long, frequent Facebook rants about views and interest. It's sad to see, makes me feel bad. My videos average 2-5k views and it's super rare I make anything more than 10k but I wouldn't trade it for the world. You still get a guaranteed like 5k per video at the absolute least and yet more complaining. I hope you both can find something more solid that allows the world to see the amazing talents you both have, or that you can find your true passion for PR again that isn't so demoralizing to you. This comment was enraging and misguided on its own, missing the entire point of the fairly short discussion (narrated this time by OTHER creators) that didn't start until 13:48. Before I even responded, you took this from our personal vlog channel to Twitter, to turn our struggle into your own content, on a platform where you know we’re not active, for people to pile on behind our back. Cowardly. Void of empathy and understanding about literally everything we've tried to communicate. The only people here who are acting self-entitled are you and your followers on Twitter, upset that I didn't give them free promotion? Are you kidding me? I don't even know those people, or why they feel entitled to that, but did they ever even ask? This is the first time I've been aware of them. I'm pretty easy to find. As for you, what specifically entitles you to tell me how to run my channel, and how to feel about what happens in our personal life? This being the place to share those thoughts, by the way. Do I need to explain what a vlog channel is? You run a hobby channel. I have never knocked your channel, and it's fine to have a hobby, but your situation is substantially different from ours. Please don't try to tell me you understand, you do not. The other creators in this video DO understand. That's why I shared it. It is a trending topic which is extremely relatable to us and we had something to add to it, briefly. And once again, you haven't understood. So are you also dismissing those creators as complainers? They were the ones talking this time. I just asked if it was helpful to hear from other people, to which the answer evidently is no. You are doing this thing that is so common in the fandom. This video validated things I've said in the past about platform trouble and was not aimed at you, Josh, or anyone else at all. Rare that we can respond to a trending topic on KZbin over here. @DividedAsOne But there wasn't drama until you decided to prod the issue as if he put a knife in your back Bruno when all he did was provide his personal thoughts both as a Tokusatsu channel and as someone who previously watched your videos. You brought up the aspects of followers being "entitled" when that had nothing to do with what Josh initially said. And you know what I do think the annoyance on their behalf is kinda deserved? When your KZbin associate/PR advertiser said you should shift your content, you got an outcropping of support from a lot of channels behind what this brand and your content meant to them, and correct me if im wrong, but that included Josh. Which you used him in a clip segment filled with other people showing their support for you. I don't think its fully fair to say its entitlement when the tokusatsu space is niche as it is. Honest to god I unsubscribed from both of your channels a while back for similar reasons, I just felt like you weren't happy making the content you were uploading and continued to make it everyone else problem. I watched your content, both ranger and vlogs ever since the 2016 movie came out. And I binged pretty much your whole backlog in that time. But you act as if you are immune to criticism or that you ca n just do whatever you want because other people with lower moral compasses get into. The other big reason I unsubscribed was that AI generated video, and your response to people who called you out on what you were doing there too. I just get this sense that you don't have any real plans to re-envision yourself or your content. You make fun, and time-consuming things as you have for almost 20 years but your content hasn't grown in that time either. Sure productions might take a lot of time but in a way personally it doesn't really feel like much has changed since your Zyuougher days(the content that really got me to start watching MMPRToys). You repeatedly turn down the idea of doing other tokusatsu content on the channel, primarily Kamen Rider, but ive never seen you attempt to do Ultraman content, which is becoming more prominent in the west. Or just a total rebrand to just working on toy videos that arent Power Rangers. I know you've said the train stuff, marvel stuff and tmnt stuff don't bring in views. But maybe its a matter of making more of that content to diversify your catalog rather than giving up with it each time it pulls under. Maybe its worth not doing so much long and time-consuming content if it doesn't get you the results you want. But to say Josh is upset about his viewpoint and is taking it out on you is preposterous. From one creator to another, he was trying to sympathize with what you were dealing with. Not try to take his frustrations and take them out on you. At the end of the day, I just don't understand what you want out of your channels, out of your business. Your personalities are so bright and fun. I love Mia, I love Jerry. I got sad knowing the things you were going through with the passing of a dear family pet. But I can't really bring myself to watch either channel much anymore because there's this sense of hostility and anger that lingers over everything. Hostility for youtube, hostility for your fans, hell hostility towards Power Rangers and Super Sentai as a whole. And I honestly think that maybe you should just start over from scratch if you arent confident in the future of this channel or brand. Or maybe its time to walk away from youtube like these content creators that you sited as feeling kindred with. Id rather you be happy with what your doing in your life, as opposed to doing something out of obligation.

Josh left this comment first. Went on Twitter second. Third we lost subs here from the tweet, and have had a ton of angry people swarming us from Twitter across social media. THEN came my replies. I've since removed previous posts and told Josh we're good when he takes his tweet down that continues to spread. Josh said no and blocked me.

I think KZbin is working just fine, for KZbin. They've screwed creators a good number of times now. COPPA absolutely destroyed our other channel, and that was entirely their fault. I don't know how you put reels back in the box. Many people just want random crap suggested to them and have crazy-short attention spans. Channels can still do well on KZbin, but you need to reach the people who want what you're making. I don't like it, but I can't expect KZbin to promote my channel when they can see it doesn't even appeal to 99% of the people who chose to subscribe. We'll never be shown to lifestyle viewers, even though that's what this channel is. If we started over again, we'd have a better chance.
