My DM doesn't sound like they are always sad. Sometimes they sound happy about the future. They are sounding much more positive now, and I can see the difference, too. I want to know what I can do to make their changes easier. It will probably be easier for me to change things on my side . . . like baby steps?? I absolutely want a second chance, new beginning, with this person. This situation has taught me so much about "important things" vs. unimportant things. I have never in this lifetime been so SURE of what I wanted, AND also what I would do to make it happen. It's almost like this is A LESSON FROM GOD, and I'M TAKING NOTES!! I do believe that at some point MOST people long for a successful life, material wealth, etc., because that's what we're taught to believe in movies, and some books (mostly in fairy tales, kings and queens, princes and princesses) but then we learn VALUES, and it becomes more balanced. When someone REALLY SPECIAL comes into your life, and everything you thought you could feel is suddenly turned upside down, it CHANGES EVERYTHING. Every thing becomes just "things," but the magic of the feelings between two people makes every thing else seem so unimportant in comparison. I won't ever forget this lesson. I really believe that it wasn't until this TF experience that I realized that love meant accepting someone for exactly who they were without trying to change them. They were already "perfect" just they way they were regardless of my "preferences" about anything. I know for sure that being with this DM and also being without this DM has taught me more about love than any other person, or book, or guru, or class, or family member, or friend, could have ever taught me. I learned about true love because of one particular person.
