I have close to 20 months now clean and sober from all drugs and alcohol, only once I surrendered to Christ did I manage to get and stay clean after years and years of a literal living Hell in opioid addiction!! How can I not love my God today and give Him my all when He saved me from the brink of death more than once and sustains me. I attended the Divine Mercy Service, & went up to Father Anthony for the laying on the hands. I prayed all the way up to the altar & and seconds after I was lying on the floor slain in the Holy Spirit. This was my first time, & I felt so cleansed & blessed. The saddest thing in this world is this, "We can change our laws to suit what we need or want. However, God's Law never changes, and neither will Genesis change. , the commandments or the Sacraments. At the end of the litany of St Joseph after the "St Joseph terror of demons" phrase, I always add: St Joseph, patron Saint of Canada, please pray for our country's leaders that they may be Christian in thought, word and deed. I really learned a lot from Fr. Calloway about the importance of a Father. I think many do not know what Fr. Calloway explained even if you grew up with a father. There is so much different meaning and importances of a role of parental father that many do not know. What I like about Fr. Having had a profound conversion experience 16 years ago and experienced what seers and mystics described as an illumination of conscience, my heart burns to hear these testimonies. I can testify to God's infinite love and mercy when I had an encounter with our Blessed Mother, who led me through Christ through the Eucharist to save my marriage during my pilgrimage to Medjugorje. Both of you, thank you for sharing your wisdom. Just thinking, Fr. Don. You have made some great prayer cards showing St Joseph as a virile and loving husband and father. I have bought each of them. The St Joseph litany is in one of them. I put them on the altar of St Joseph for St Joseph feast day. Everyone takes them. They are spreading. This is just a thought: is it possible to make a card with St Joseph as as you show him on the prayer cards with his son, Jesus, older than a 12 year old, maybe 18 or 21 young man working along side his father. Every prayer card I have seen depicting St Joseph and Jesus shows Jesus so young, angelic to the point of almost looking effeminate. If Jesus was shown older, He would look as a man with all the qualities and virtues of the father of His household; He would have great love and respect for His earthly father. Our young men as well as their parents would see how good a man can be when their dad emulates St Joseph.

This morning I witnessed two fabulous presentations by two former “bad boys “. I’m so happy that each has turned his life around and I’m grateful that neither has forgotten his history. They use their pasts to warn others. It’s very true that collateral circumstances did not enhance their lives, however neither Father Calloway nor Jim Wahlberg placed the blame on parents, teachers, siblings, etc. (as I reflect on what I heard today I think “But for the grace of God go I”) They “manned up”, open their hearts to God‘s grace with the common denominator of God’s Mercy plus they relied on the love of HIS Blessed Mother, MARY to radically change the directions of their lives. One appearance at a time they are each making the world a better place. Thank you to each of you for sharing your thoughts and your stories with us. God bless you. Congratulations Jim on the upcoming birth of your grandchild and yes, keep go back and collecting on your successful bet from that person who said you would never see 18 years of age.
