The light skinned brother was my best friend in high school Brooklyn New York. Shelton was his name. I haven’t seen him since I left Brooklyn about 30 years ago. I always wondered how he’s doing or if he’s still into music like I am. I hope Shelton is doing okay.

My childhood around 1984, growing up in the Bronx. These vids would always come on TV back in the day. But listen to the message through the lyrics. Rappers always had something meaningful to say about real life through their poetry. These days, you can't say the same for these "artists".

Thank u!!!🙂 U really said that "eloquently". That's what I meant when I said that regarding a Whodini song and I guess...well I know it didn't come across the way u did and it started a big beef. Others knew what I was trying to say and I only went back and forth like twice trying to get em to understand and just squashed it.😊 But Yes u r exactly right. Well said. Thank u😍
