I wish I could take you all back ...he was one of my best friends back then. He was beyond dope. He’s also hilarious and a just plain bitchin inspiring talented dude. If I only kept the photos...Divine sleeping over at my house and us practicing breakdancing ha ha. Doing bboy poses for the camera. Drawing graffiti. Listening to New York kiss fm dj red alert shows on tape. Divine writing rhymes endlessly. Thesaurus close by. Countless rhyme books. All filled out. Song titles...what music to use...what the hook was. Then he went abstract. He still makes dope music and art. Check him on “warporn industries”. He’s done paintings for the MSK graffiti crew art shows too. Since we’re old dudes we only talk once or twice a year. He’ll always be my brother tho. KSN crew...LA.

@@99alfailiwaqain51 hello! Divine lived with a Muslim family when he was like 17 and 18 years old. They are the Bashir family. Divine was influenced by them and the various hip hop artists of that time.. like de la soul, tribe and the jungle brothers. I left LA in 1991 and I didn’t talk to divine again until around 2012. We did a lot of catching up ..that was when he told me he was able to make the trip to Mecca etc. Feel free to ask me any question.. and I will ,in turn , ask divine the answer. Divine …is a brother to me…and I’m always happy to talk with him. Anyway…. Sorry I took so long to respond. May peace be upon you my friend 🙏

I don't remember what year it was. Between 91 and 93 I think, here in Chile discovering new styles in those years, this cassette comes to me. I didn't remember what it was called and I never heard them again because I lost that cassette. Today I find them unintentionally and I am happy, because in those years they were new styles and until now I continue to find good flow, good style and how little I understand about the lyrics. They are a complete HipHop taste with content and style. Hugs!!!!!.
