This video is very helpful. thank you. I have lost one bamboo due to crack, other due to fungus.. now I will follow these 😁 1. Avoid Keeping in extreme cold places - while playing in winter rub the surface to make sure there are no temperature differences 2. Avoid Keeping in extreme hot places 3. Avoid Fungus - reasons : moisture in Rainy and winter season , saliva due to blowing Symptoms: bamboo smells bad and becomes green inside. Precautions: put in the case after it is completely dry. You can use a cloth or fan to make sure it is dry 4.always keep bansuri in case 5. Cleaning - use a cloth to clean inside. Make sure the cloth will not stick inside. Don't touch cork, as the change in position changes the length, there by affecting it's tuning 6. Play it regularly. At least once in 15 days for a minute 7. Threading - threading protects bansuri from breaking, so it matters 8. Oiling - once in 6 months, use a cloth to apply oil. Use very little oil

Bro it's not important that if you have got your flute come in contact with fungus you can't play it again just by cleaning the bansuri regularly you can avoid fungus with my experience

😊 offcourse thats unavoidable ...that will always happen because your lips getting attached to the surface of the bansuri and due wetness ...that will not do any harm to bansuri

sir i was watching this vedio while playing ebase flute ..and i suddenly hear a sound of crack and felt something on my lip . i found out my flute cracked while i was trying to play pa . it is from blowing hole to the first thread rings towards playing holes. can you please recommend something or some way in which i can prevent this crack travelling further . but after that i dont know why i can play pa more easily lollz.. btw great fan love your cover of krish theme and rhtdm . gbu sir
