I have felt this for a long time. I thought I was being legalistic and judgmental. Now that the Holy Spirit mentioned 10% my heart skipped a bit there. The level of justification for sin in our time is horrendous. People follow other people instead of of the Word. They quote pastors and prophets and apostles instead of the Word of God. They mention material things ONLY in their testimonies of God's power. Cars, houses, gadgets, businesses, high paying jobs etc are now proxy for God's blessing. Many pagans have acquired these things without believing in Jesus Christ.
