What an amazing perspective and even more amazing result. Whereas many others would have become bitter over such a diagnosis, you found increased faith. I’m not surprised it spilled over onto your family in positive ways. What a wonderful blessing you are, and an even greater blessing God is for giving you the wisdom and understanding to have this perspective!

Sadly so many adult children do not practice our faith. It Has happened in my own family as well. Father Chris has some Great talks And a couple Of months ago it was the subject of the weekly living divine mercy show. I met Carmelite sister friend and she was lamenting the same thing about her nieces. I don’t know the ages of your children but this seems to be very widespread among those in their 30s. Let’s just all keep praying for each other’s families God bless you and stay strong.

Hi Lynn, solidarity in the Church to you. My mother too, alongwith my six younger siblings, walked away from the Church way back in 1990. She is kind of Matriliny Arrogance! She never listen to my father's concern not did she bother about me.... It's really really a paranoiac distressing situation for me. She is now HOLIER THAN THOU. And at times I doubt God and don't know what to pray for. Sometimes it looks like God is hiding Himself in my confounding haplessness.

I'm from India Father. Thank you so much for your awesome talks. God bless. This is my testimony about the power of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Holy Rosary. My husband had made his confession after 24 long years and then began to go for daily Mass and receive Communion. He passed away 2 months later. This happened in the year 2010. Today my faith has increased even more and there is never a day which goes by without me praying these prayers...

Thank you Father Chris, Your testimony was truly AWESOME! A friend of mine was sharing that her son, a fallen-away Catholic, was telling her (a common response re: the Faith) to the effect that: he is a good person and that there couldn't be a hell because of God's Love, etc. She tried to answer him but felt inadequate. Before I viewed your video, I watched one from Renewal Ministries, re: A Reality Check about the Truth of what the Church teaches esp. about "hell" and quoting what St. Faustina said about "hell." I thought maybe the Holy Spirit wanted me to share it, then later today I saw yours and while agreeing wholeheartedly with Renewal Ministries Video, (actually it was a featured talk by Father Mark Goring, the "Uncompromising Truth" of our Faith, taught with Love and concern for others, I will ask the Holy Spirit which of the "Videos" yours and "theirs" would be the right one to share for now. God bless

I was talking to a friend who had a conversation with her son, re: the Catholic Faith. He is a fallen-away Catholic. He was giving some of the usual arguments to the effect that: If God is Good, how could hell exist and he is a good person etc. I thought she answered him quite well, but she realized she needed help. I came across a video from Renewal ministries, which featured Father Mark Goring, titled, "Reality Check" explaining the Uncompromising Truth of the existence of Hell, quoting from St. Faustina's diary, but taught in Love and Concern for us. Later, I saw this video, from "Explaining the Faith Series" which I know, also teaches the Uncompromising Truth of the Faith in Love and Concern for us. A sure answer to prayer. God bless.

After watching this beautiful and fulfilling talk i decided to share my personal story with Gods mercy. About 11 years ago, i was in such a state of depression and fear of eternal damnation, that I see no way out of it. I was raised catholic but was living far away from teaching of God. i knew deep in my heart how bad I was and didn t have the power to change. So great despair overwhelmed me. One night around 2 am I suddenly woke up from the dream, and as i woke up I realised i am saying aloud a Hale Mary prayer and name of Brigitta came to my mind as a one thing I can remember hearing in my dream. I was confused, repeating that name all over again trying to find a conection or a meaning of that. Suddenly I had an urge to turn on computer and put words Hale Mary and Brigitta into google search. In my Slovak language first thing what appears on the sreen was We are saved , I opened it up and there was a prayer , so beyond my expectations . God showed me his unimaginable mercy. There was a one year prayer I started with and now I am on 12 years prayer, so powerful. I will be forever greatfull to my Savior Jesus Christ

Traditional Latin Mass churches are full and growing, especially with young people and young families. They are inspiring many to Holy Orders. This should tell you something. I’ve only attended once because there isn’t any such church near me, but I can give one possible reason: you can feel God there. His Presence fills and penetrates to a degree never reached in Novus Ordo masses. The experience is profoundly unforgettable. Talk about powerful stuff!

@@DivineMercy_Official Good point! God is fully present in EVERY mass; however, the one traditional Latin mass I attended was such a powerful holy and reverent mass, I’ve never forgotten it. I’ve attended many masses in my life, but none that have stayed with me like that one. If anyone is curious why those traditional Latin mass churches are so vibrant and growing with young families, in my opinion, it’s related to this. It’s like tasting a rich full-bodied wine for the first time after a lifetime of watered down wine. They’re both wine. Imagine that after this you found out that it was possible to have the rich wine every day instead of the watered down one. Which would you remember most fondly and long to have again?

It’s true that God is present in both rites; however, the Novus Ordo is the only one that does not date back to an apostle. It was created by the team of Freemasons, Lutherans and modernists that overtook Vatican II and imposed their will on the outcome. Even the Pope admits that the theology of the Novus Ordo is so different from the Mass of Ages or Traditional Latin / Roman Rite (the proper name of the so-called “extraordinary” rite) that it is effectively a different religion. Though there are many truly holy priests, such as you, Fr. Alar, who offer NO masses (despite serious deficiencies in the rite), there is no question that it isn’t the greatest, MOST fitting form of worship we can offer God. As any priest or lay person who has studied and experienced both can attest: the Traditional Latin Rite is unquestionably far above the NO when it comes to truly holy and fitting worship. For these reasons, the most important question isn’t whether God is present in both, but the fittingness of worship offered. Who should we strive to be more like? Cain who was cursed by God for giving God his second best, or Able who gave God his very best even though it cost him his life. The dramatic difference between the rites leaps out easily when you experience both and begin studying their history, the most profound of which relates to the Eucharist. In the traditional Church, the entire mass is God-centered, with special focus on the great sacrifice of Jesus for the sake of our salvation despite our undeserving nature. As we plead to be made worthy, we ask His love, mercy and forgiveness. In the Novus Ordo church, the mass is has become a man-centered show where the priest emcees a series of laity performing holy tasks that rightfully belong to priests and deacons. That the priest still presides over Communion is hardly reassuring considering it’s not only been changed from a solemn sacrifice into a fun dinner party, it’s also now characterized by countless unwashed, unconsecrated hands touching and crumbling, and dirty feet trampling, literally the most holy and sacred thing in the universe: the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ!! We should all be ashamed of this treatment of our God. I am convinced there is no sin on earth greater than this. Other changes making everyone’s worship less fit include: the removal and/or suppression of crucifixes, tabernacles, true altars with relics of Saints, statues of Mary, Jesus and Saints, iconography and beautifully detailed stained glass pictures, devotion to Saints, nearly all the Holy Week practices and prayers, praying like Catholics (not Protestants), nearly all praying/singing/speaking in Latin (a CANONIZED language that Satan hates), the presence and very existence of most holy orders and religious (especially contemplative ones), many valuable Catholic organizations, St. Michael prayers, true piety, Communion on the tongue, adoration of Jesus in the Eucharist, belief in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, the priesthood itself, belief in the sanctity of life, protecting the unborn, fasting and sacrifice, redemptive suffering, praying for the dead, and burying our dead in consecrated ground. This is but a small sampling of the changes. The result is that we have nearly forgotten things like how to even be Catholic, what it means, and what makes it special. Considering the destruction, the lack of energy and support for the Faith in NO churches (a 60’s invention) is hardly surprising. Even so, one need not look far to find fervent examples of these elsewhere. It’s in the traditional Church. We are full of young people and young families who wholeheartedly learn, love, live and share the One True Faith in abundance. They are a powerful force for change, as is evidenced by the number of religious occupations coming out of such families. It begs the question why the Church hierarchy go to such great lengths to suppress us? I believe that many in our hierarchy have lost their way and fallen prey to Satan tricks, gifts and temptations. Otherwise they would promote the things Satan hates and denounce the things he favors. What can we do about it? Pray, pray, pray and learn. Study the Faith (especially related to dominion, authority and the limits of obedience…refer to Fr. Ripperger’s talks, the SSPX channel’s “Crisis in the Church” series, and Taylor Marshall’s book, “Infiltration” for more on these topics), learn to live a rightly ordered life under God, begin learning and practicing true Catholicism (with the Baltimore Catechism, mass attendance, frequent sacraments, daily sacrifice and prayerful meditation, and more). I believe the continued existence of a holy priesthood and a holy laity are intrinsically linked. Each one needs the other. Though the increasing challenges facing today’s Church seem insurmountable, there is hope! The battle for dominion was won! Jesus defeated Satan on the cross and Mary crushed his head. The battle that remains is for each of our souls. Our choices determine the outcome: such as how we choose to pray, live, serve and worship God (such as being rightly ordered as God intended in our relationships, lives and worship). God gave us everything, holding nothing back, not even His only Son. Shouldn’t we at least try to offer Him our best love, worship and sacrifice in return?

Thank you Fr. Chris, I believed its everyones duty to evangelize. As now growing in my faith as a Roman Catholic and learning so much about the teachings, i tried to practice good counsel to others as well about the love of Our Lord towards humanity and the creations. im blessed because I have given the chance to know the truth..Because I believe that everyone has its longingness to know Our Lord is. but not given the chance to find the true vessel. Now Im beginning to know it, Im also evangelizing the eternal Word, Our Lord Jesus. I also thank Mama Mary and praying the Holy Rosary

What you said about Joy and a mothers joy in her faith was so true. It seemed as though you were speaking of my mother and her faith. She has unfaltering belief and always has her prayers answered - not immediately but they always are. I only learned lately that she has a prayer list that she offers up daily on behalf of others. I think her faith is amazing.
