On Christmas day 2019 I spilled tea over myself and had to change my clothing but still made the 7:30 am mass with time to spare. I sat next to a single lady who smiled at me quietly. A beautiful smile. I briefly told her what had happened and that I had rebuked whatever had caused the accident with "the gates of hell will not prevail, I am going to that church service " She told me that an exorcist priest had once told her what to say when strange things happen. It started off with "Jesus is alive" (AMEN) but I forget the rest. I wanted to write it down and never had a pen, so she said " I am always here". I looked for her and never saw her again, but our parish priest is convinced it was Mamma Mary. We are so privileged to have her as our Mother. With love and blessings from South Africa.
