After 15 years with tarot, I still have trouble interpreting it, so I mostly read oracle cards because it's simpler. I'm just starting to learn Lenormand. I think I'm going to love this system. Thank you for your great videos.

I bought this deck thinking it was just another style of tarot deck, the images and the colors really caught my eye. I had no idea that Lenormand was a completely different thing. My grand tableau spread is 5 lines of 7 cards and one on the side. I start my readings like this so I can see what is the main point the client needs to focus on.

That is the Stralsunder Lenormand, a historic deck. This is an antique reproduction of that deck, which you can purchase online. It's clear and uncluttered and easy to read.

Today I went to a store to buy a very particular game. While I was there I stumbled upon the library section and the tarot cards (I know nothing about tarot neither Lenormand). I'm a curious person and I've seen one or two tarot decks in my life so I was curious to see these. I got so fascinated... I saw the Lenormand Fairy Oracle deck and instantly fell in love with it. I couldn't put it down and I wanted to buy it. I even thought it was a tarot deck so you see how much I know about these things. But because I liked it so much I wanted to learn how to use it and all it's meanings so I asked the lady working there for some instructions so I could be a hobbyist you know but she knew as much as me. My rationality told me to not buy the deck because of my lack of knowledge but then, when I was leaving the store, a guy approached me saying that he heard my conversation with the lady and that he knows about tarot and asked if I wanted to know more. I said yes and we talked for a while. He, somehow, guessed that I'm going to be 21 this month and said that it was the start of a new cycle and it would be a great time to learn tarot if I wanted to. He even indicated me a store where I could buy a deck if I wanted to and so on. Now I'm home, I've watched and read quite a few things about tarot and now Lenormand and I'm feeling that I should have bought the deck. Lenormand looked a lot like the way I think and, I don't know, I feel such a big urge to learn this. But I'm a programming student and an artist and...I don't know, is this for me? +Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds

I find your videos really useful, but I find the background music in all of them distracting! I know this is very individual, everyone has a different feeling about background music, but for me I'd prefer the music quieter or not at all while you're speaking, and add it during transitions or where your voice is not the feature. At any rate, thanks for sharing your expertise with us, very helpful :)

I've been curious about tarot but never fully learned or got a deck and now I discover this! Do you recommend Lenormand over tarot and is there and dragon themed decks?

Hi there. There are several dragon themed Tarot decks. I've not seen Lenormand dragon themes as of this date, it is possible I missed them if any exist. I'm not a big fan of themed Lenormand decks because the theme often interferes with the reading system (it's so different than tarot). Different oracle systems appeal to different people. I think Lenormand is more succinct and blunt than tarot much of the time, and it is crazy accurate with predictions. But it's a system that must be learned, it has specific rules. Tarot is looser and often more creative and it tends to be more talky and emotive. Both are excellent; it depends on what motivates you and often depends on the types of questions we ask.

The French Cartomany Deck, but I debordered it. It may be one I added glitter to as well. If you search for this deck, check the size, as there has been a new one published that is enormous and that is not good for a Lenormand deck where large spreads require limited space.

This is the French Cartomancy Mini Deck. I I know it doesn't look like it is mini sized, but you don't want the original version of this deck because of size is enormous. Good question. No, you absolutely do not have to know tarot in order to learn to read the Lenormand system. They are two distinctly different systems and you may actually have an easier time learning this if you don't already know another system. I made this video because many tarot readers are transitioning into the Lenormand system and they blend the two as if they are the same thing but they are distinctly different languages.
