Diving Belongas, Lombok, Indonesia

Diving Belongas in Lombok is only for the adventurous ones. This area is known for strong currents. You need to have a minimum of 100 dives. Every dive you go in negative entry. You need to be as fast as possible under the currents.
The magnet is famous for possible hammerhead sharks. I had really bad luck. Dive guide Jay told me it is one of the worst conditions we had there. But even then, there is always something to see. Spotted here white tip reef sharks, a sea snake & still loads of fish. Too bad of the visibility but it was definitely an experience to dive The Magnet.
Jay really want to make it up & show us something really great. A new dive spot: The Manta Pot. He was really excited so the boatsman took us out there. Again, the ocean here is wild, the coastline even wilder.
The Manta Pot: the visibility was bit better and once we were on the spot... the mantas showed up. 6 of them stayed our whole dive with us. I am so happy to experience this that I did not really pay attention to what's more out there. Luckily I did not miss out on the octopus.
This spot is really awesome. We are the only boat out here. There are not much possibilities to get here so what are you waiting for ??
3rd dive of the day: Gili Sarang.
Here is so much happening. There is a lot of beautiful coral & the amount of fish is crazy. i had a dive through some small cave. There is so much live around here from tiny shrimps, nudibranches till stingrays & sharks.
