It is my understanding that in the state of Minnesota anyway, the Medicaid application asks if you a grantor of a Trust.

Medicaid is a joint federal and state program meaning the federal government has general rules that all state Medicaid programs must follow, but each state runs its own program. Therefore it is best to consult an Elder Law attorney in your state.

Medicaid has a claim putting trusts in a lawyer for my emergency services and also the hospitals equipment in this new home

What happens if my mom is a co-owner on my condominium. Can Florida Medicaid take 1/2 of the value of my residence. The property is homesteaded in my name. My mom has her own Homesteaded property where she resides. Should I remove mom from the deed? Quit claim deed?
