I used to live across the street in the early 90s, some of the best days of my life! Every morning was a dilemma: Do I jump in the shower get dressed, or run across the street for a snorkel/free dive? Or bike down the street to Smith's Cove? I lived there when National geographic filmed a segment there, the tiny jellies. And I had lots of fun with them and the Tarpon and the eels and the local Goliath grouper. Fun times. But it was also the only place where i thought i was going to die-my buddy went through a pitch black tunnel where we had to take off our tanks and push them through the narrow hole ahead of us (neither of us were cave certified).

I'm so self absorbed (dunning-kruger poster-child) i forgot to mention how amazing your video is! Great footage (as expected) but also script, editing and audio. Kudos!

Haha thank you! You get extra point for mentioning Dunning-Kruger though, which most people don't even know! Thank you for the compliments 🙏 I really appreciate it!

Surprised you didnt dive the north wall while in cayman. Steep 8000ft drop off, excellent rec and tec dive sites. Nice and sharky too

Are the camera set-up you use expensive? It looks very specialised. What would you say are some interesting places to dive near the Netherlands. 😂😅 Because the Cayman Islands or the great barriers reef are expensive to go to. I'm considering Malta and have done my DSD in Pula Croatia.
@DiveSAGA Жыл бұрын
Yeah Malta or even Mallorca has great diving. The camera set-up is a bit pricey but I use it a lot for work!

Like most of the Caribbean.. no fish
@Bulsajo29 күн бұрын
I wonder if that's due to invasive species. I lived in the caribbean before lionfish arrived, there was no shortage of fish then.
