Was this Diving just 6 months ago...?? Wow ! I htought all the corals in Maldives were dead, but these table corals look fabulous. Were you in Ari Atoll ??

Yes it was. Coral state is mixed in the Maldives. In some areas a lot is destroyed indeed, but in others corals are looking good. We didn't make it to Ari Atoll on that trip.

Mate that opening shot !!! Just wow... amazing footage and amazing video. Could you please explain a bit more about how the first video was shot ? as in were there flood lights only from the boat or did you have video lights on your camera rig as well? Just stunned how good that opening clip of the whale shark looks !! awesome stuff man

Thanks! And you got it right - bright lights from the back of the boat to attract plankton, which then attracts the big filter feeders. No lights on the camera rig needed or recommended.
