Great video as always! I just had to comment to give a special shout out to Professor Meg. I feel like she does a good job being passionate while also being concise and informative. She shares the mic well, presents information verbally and to the cameras, and overall brings a great attitude! Keep working together :)

This is one of my longest awaited Kickstarters at this point and I can't wait to finally get it. It's one of my favourite video games so really looking forward to diving into this one.

I’m so excited to get this game! I didn’t kickstart it because I was new to board gaming then but Divinity original sin 2 is my favorite video game. So far I’m happy with the changes they’ve made, it matches the video game more from what I’ve seen.

Thanks for this video. I just ordered this (no minis) from Larian, a bit of a blind purchase. Cool to get a small glimpse into what is to come. Looks like I won't regret it.

14:30 Oily and warm are mixed up in the rule book, the tokens show the real thing. Warm adds +2 fire dmg (3 curved lines) and Oily adds +2 Earth dmg (the flame symbol). 17:00 environmental effects are applied after damage, the searing daggers + the wand would be area effects dealing damage to the other origin. 24:30 Since they moved to a new board all status effects and cards on the cooldowntrack would be wiped. 28:20 Damage taken 4 on the dice +1 flat would be 5-2 armor =3dmg 35:10 Round marker moves between the enemy attacks to 7 40:10 Would be down to round 6 40:40 would be 3-2 =1 dmg these games are so rough with ambiguous wording of rules and confusing stuff, pretty much impossible to not make mistakes while playing...

Just ordered my copy yesterday. I was a little disappointed to see that it wasn't a true dungeon crawler with a hex that you explored, but after watching multiple reviews it really seems like they focused more on the game being accessible and quick to get set-up on the table rather than trying to make a copy of Gloomhaven or Frosthaven. I applaud them for that as even though I love Gloomhaven, putting it out on the table is a literal chore and getting people into it is a challenge, to the point that I have never finished its campaign. Very excited to see that the developers of this one seem to really want to make it easy for you to just jump into this and bring your friends along.

Gloomhaven is amazing. I've finished it 3 times myself. Frosthaven, however, is simply not as good. If you want to finish Gloomhaven, your best bet may be to play it on Steam, that takes away all the set up and everything. As for this game, I too was hoping for more of a crawler. I have a dedicated game table, so space for me is a non issue

I'm super excited for this game. The best part about the videogame was all the different attacks and spells you can use. Creating an awesome combo of different attacks felt awesome. Could you guys show us the attack cards you use when you use them for the first time? I'm already thinking about crafting builds and characters. 😂

I would have rather have maps like jaws of the lion with random elements on the map to use just in dos2. I think they I’ll have a missed opportunity. A big part of the divinity series is tactical movement and elements. Imagine being able to use that oil spell on a map and placing down markers. I just want more visually.

While there's no verticality (that I know of) there's still tactical movement. The spells and abilities have ranges that you can attack from. So a range 3 means you can attack from 3 spaces away. Enemies take bleed damage when moving too. So causing bleed and moving away from an enemy with a range of 0 is viable. As for the environmental effects, there's tokens to place in spaces that show what environmental hazard is there. When oily, place and oily marker. Fire, wet, etc.

They are videos I have uploaded. I use AI for voice and AI for images. I edit it all together with sounds and ambience. I even pin a comment for immersive sound/music vode each location.@samsonk.167

So, quick question: On Meg's tentacle lash, when she originally read the ability it sounded like a particular symbol on the die caused blind, but if they were already blinded that symbol would add 2 damage, but you guys played it as if it just automatically did an extra 2 so was confused

The card says that +2 damage is conditional on the target being blinded but does not need the special symbol to be rolled. To apply the blinded status you need to roll the special symbol. If they already have blind it would reapply blind if the blind status was lower than where the card sets it. (At cool down 2)
