Divinity OS:2 - Level 6 Necro Knight vs Dallis in Fort Joy [Tactician, No Lone Wolf]

I guess this is what I get for manipulating the turn order to such a ridiculous extent. Thank God I'm not playing on Honour mode.
No, I don't think that this is a fun way of playing the game, either. However, Dallis' hammer is the best weapon available for a Necro Knight build at level 6, and that level is far too low to have any reasonable ways to deal high damage. As a ranged character you can manipulate the fight in many other ways, and as I showed in a previous video, you can just crush it with deathfog. This is a very consistent strategy for melee characters, though. You can cheese pretty much every fight this way so long as you have enough space to go invisible and get far enough away to sneak.
After you escape the prison, you have so many more weapon and skill choices. The Dallis fight on the boat will be a completely different approach to this. However even getting through this fight with the terrible Fort Joy gear and low level skills is always something commendable.

lol I like how because she's technically a Magister and got aggro'd in to combat, you get exp when Dallis drains Attusa.

You get XP from starting a mission when you hit them. But yeah she's technically a magister and get the buff leader in sight when the fight begin

You can raise bloated corpse on the corpse you corpse explode. For 1 AP you get great value if it lives to see its turn. The bloated corpse can do a basic attack then explode for a lot of damage. Fitting for a necro knight

it's designed to be able to kill her - the achievement is properly rare, 1% - out of ~24% that have finished the game. Invis/sneak is a proper cheese that works on virtually everything. She can be killed with invis potions too (no cooldown). High ground, death wish should be able to finish her in two turns as well.

They dont care about it. Game have a lot of bugs but even after defenite they didnt fix it. Too ugly fight like this man.

I hate that the Horrific Scream spell is not available to players, I love its sound effect and it's OP.

I like using a death fog barrel, just dropping it on the heads of everyone there :)

The only issue that has is it can take many reloads if you're unlucky to get the fog to spread not only to Alexander but ALSO the two Geists, or at least 1 Geist so you can teleport the remaining in to it. Often, the deathfog will expand in JUST SUCH A WAY as to miss Alex and a Geist, or hit Alex but no Geist, or hit a Geist but not Alex, or even hit both Geists but STILL miss Alex. Last time I did the deathfog cheese I had to reload my save I think like 9 times just to have the fog expand properly.

The tactic isn't bad, but you should have back up plans. You could have survived if you used uncanny evasion before finishing off dallis. Well played, nonetheless

I didn't finish off Dallis, I mistakenly hit her HP threshold and she removed the remaining AP on my turn. I actually forgot about that during the fight and found it funny that I lost my turn and got nuked. I did the fight flawlessly after but something about dying the way I did made this one funnier to upload

Uncanny evasion would have run out the same turn the knockdown ended as well.. the result would have been the same as the gheist took their turn immediately afterwards, with no way of applying cc, invis etc. Good try though, with a corpse explo or tele you probably would have been fine as you would have been outside of the knockdown range! Did you give this another try afterwards?

@@Src107 sure did. I just chose to upload this one because I found the ending funny. Totally forgot that Dallis did her dragon transformation at 1/4 HP instead of at empty, but the plan for that turn was still the same to do damage, then go invisible and stealth out to reset cooldowns.

I do have a deathfog video on my channel, just for the meme more than anything, but I don't find cheesing using those methods as satisfying as cheesing by being able to manipulate the AI.

@@Jay-dx9fi well it's abusing certain mechanics to do something you normally wouldn't be able to do and basically break the encounter balance as well as sequencing in the game, killing a boss way earlier than normal. It's a fun challenge, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have already finished the game normally and are just trying things up

It's a craftable spell. Combine any non-source pyro & necro skill book together :)

You should know it's a broken spell. For 1 AP, you nearly kill anyone. In the 2nd fight with Dallis, just teleport her to the middle of the corpses and use Mass corpses explosion, and be done with it. Broken stuff.

You can avoid Dallis and enter the town through another gate, do some quest, get some exp and then come back to fight her

Why do you have so many AP? I know how executioner works so I'm not referring to that, but why do you have 6AP after using almost all of em in your previous turn without Lone Wolf? And sometimes you used Adrenaline but still had 4AP next turn instead of 2? I dont see any haste effects

@benjaminenriquecheuquepanv3734 glass cannon is great for tanks bc enemies usually are programmed to prioritize status effects over dps, meaning anyone without armor will get focused to apply cc or status effects. Glass cannon ignores the armor bit so you can dump high con into their build and if they DONT get cc'ed into oblivion you get every turn with full ap. Which works super wonderfully if you have a team comp that can capitalize off of that behavior. Basically a wayfarer or mage applying dps on high value enemies, or a rogue backstabbing them since they likely are being ignored for the other chap

My main character hits way harder right now, she was the strongest even before glass canon but now she is unstoppable, loved it even if it means enemies targeting you, it makes the game more entertaining with new tactics and longer combinations.

You can either sneak past them at first visit or go up the ladder at the far end to enter fort joy that way. They stay there until you escape the prison so you can get to level 6 inside fort joy then come back for the fight
