Heres another tip - dont stand out in the open and reload. No amount of armour can with stand the damage the NPC dishes out. A red can do 1 mil damage just by looking at you.

These are the kind of tips and tricks that I WISH I knew sooner too. Actually I'm just starting to learn at lvl 800. More vids like this one are appreciated. Discussing how builds are designed would be very useful. I'm just starting to pare up the specialties with gear sets and talents. Lots of parameters (probably 1000s when you get down to it. First steps.

I used to rely on builds. But nowadays i'm focusing on raising my proficiency level. Equipping named items that have no synergy with one another, and weapons i never touched till now. Once i get them all raised, i ditch them and go back to my old builds.

Amazing! So true about matching the build to your skill level. Some of your builds don’t work well for me. Mostly the up close and personal. But the sniper and skill builds fit my play style perfectly. Thanks again for a great video.

#UNDERDOG - when I’m ‘struggling’ I resort to patience. Take your time. If you were really there, would you Rambo into the middle of the room and take on the masses? Knowing the map and the spawn triggers and spawn points is a massive advantage too.

As someone who has learned a lot througjout my journey, going from doing 1hr+ solo legendary dua to 13:25, this video is very accurate. Quick disclaimer, I am an elitist at times. As a general rule, the higher the difficulty the less variation there is in build effectiveness. For example, no one should be using a pgc all high end 6 red build in legendary for the most part. Strikers offers more damage without pgc drawback. Umbra, for all the buffs, is very impractical. Forcing to play in and out of cover isnt very practical even if the gearset buffs look good on paper. Additionaly, know what your build can do. Enemy health pools change based upon difficulty and player scaling. So my regulus build that can one shot a yellow solo on legendary might only be able to one shot purples in four man scaling. My striker build with obliterate vs focus, one may one mag a yellow, where the other may require a reload. Knowing these things is key, because when you make those split second calculations, these are things you have to factor in.

Can someone tell me what's happened to the loot-system in Division 2? I've been playing almost 4 years now, and up 'till last season i had consistent decent loot; we're talking multiple god-rolled items on a daily basis. Last 6 months i keep getting nothing but trash, hardly any godrolls, even tho' my game-time- and my difficulty level has increased. Not that i mind much, i mean, my stash and my 2 mules are completely full anyway and i dont have any more space to stock new items without destroying other good stuff. Still, it's a real pitty to see how farming is now 10-fold what it used to be in Division2... The EXPERTISE-system is killing this game!! It's almost as if Ubisoft recruted Devs from Blizzard...;-) (farming will KILL this game ... i can live with the bugs and disconnects.... i cannot live with a "farming 'till you die" aspect; It's bad enough having to work for a living. I do not want to "work" playing games in my free time as well!)

It's all RNG. The more important things are proper attributes compared to "God rolls." Heroic w3 directives gives me what I need most of the time or my teammates can also drop the items for me. Stay away from Countdown and Summit. Look at your map and farm activities when the loot you are looking for is in an area opposed to a single mission. It's all RNG, it changes with time to time. Also, your brain pays attention to the outcome you want it to see. If you want to see trash, that's all you'll get. Good luck

Epic here, just wanted to say, great F’n content. The game itself has so much to offer in a genre combo of things in a COD/GOW style dropped in MMO. MMO players can go thru loots with knowledge but lack simple military combat tactics while you have someone with combat tactics but has a hard time understanding the gear set up. I appreciate your work, may we cross paths in the battlefield friend or foe, would be an honor. Do have one question how many diff systems you play this on? Got a PS4 with 3 characters, xbox 1 character.

All that works for me as far as damage and getting an advantage is using the trauma chest piece and ongoing directive with or without the ninja bike backpack, the police M4 with the 50 percent status effect damage and the new assault rifle or the pestilence lmg with the shrapnel trap and bleed seeker mine. other than that i die lol dont have any major exotic weapons. No time to grind and never can get in a raid that will give me the eagle bearer.

You don't need the eagle bearer. The best weapon in the game is actually a FAMAS with fast hands. Your build would be more effective if you ran the ongoing directive chest piece. Try it with a belstone mask or holster and a ceska mask or holster. Since you probably don't want to run glass cannon, those are my suggestions. Honestly you would get better results if you ran the ongoing backpack too. Try it on the gunner class. You would have low crit damage but cap out on crutches damage plus 1% Regen and 10% armor on kill. Use the banshee pulse for your initial status effect. Eventually try sadist and the vile mask and a china light glass cannon build. With that you can ditch crits all together and just roll status effects

Having almost 40 years of gaming experience i have to say Division 2 is (or was) the best game i ever played. The graphics and playstyle are unmatched. Only the good-old CS1.6 beats the "shooter feeling" you get in this game. The level of detail in graphics, the subtle and hidden humour all over the place in the Division 2- universe is unmatched by any other game! (Albeit, I admit you need a beast of a PC and a more-then stable internet connection or the game WILL crash on you...🙂; you might even need to dig into windows registry to get it 100% stable) Unfortunately my favourite part of the game has been KILLED off lately: the build-making aspect of the game! Division 2 has now become a farming game and the "expertise" system is destroying everything. It is unfair to new players and it is killing off build diversity. Even for "hard-core" players like me, having 4 characters decked out, 2 mains, 2 mules, and 32 different builds... it is now impossible to max-level more then 2 or 3 builds. The amount of materials required past expertise 15 is just outrageous and unrealistic. Build diversity is getting "dead and burried." 😞 I am sorry to say but this could very well be my last season on Division 2.

They definitely broke my inner completionist with the expertise system but the idea of a horizontal progression system isn't a bad one. I just think they overshot the mark on the exotic components required to max out a build, and armor bonuses are too scant. PvP shouldn't even have handicaps. Capped SHD health and no expertise. Keep it in invaded DZ bit otherwise it was always a bad idea to include in pvp.

I've been 40 for a few weeks but have yet to get anything better to drop been using crafted improvised gear and a m1a rifle shottys as a secondary. I do well against world checkpoints and small missions but have not found any good drops or weapons. Dark zone is out of my reach at the moment just get 1 spotted by players.

Amazing video! I would have to disagree with the statement that builds have a fraction of a second difference. This only applies if the builds are similar and not maximizing the full damage potential of a build. Some builds are extremely overpowered compared to the alternatives, but not everyone can use them effectively.

The number one thing I wish I knew before investing a stoopid amount of time in it is the amount of cheaters an toxic players. It’s no wonder the game only has a very small select group of individuals who play steady because “it’s worth it”

Maybe it is just in my imagination, but I have noticed that the higher accuracy I have on a no scope MMR, the greater the chance is to hit the head with auto aim. So, playing with no scope I find accuracy more important than stability, but playing with scope stability is the better way to go. Do you have the same experience?

hmmm. I dont think so. BUt it may be a frame per second thing. Once you have headhunter activated, your chances should go up for shot on target. (little hidden perk)
