These are really an incredible value proposition, considering the other similar 16x16 LED pixel displays I found cost around 5 TIMES MORE.

Exactly! It's a niche market, but actually Divoom are probably the best out there when it comes to LED Pixel displays!

Changing the playback speed to 0.75x makes the video sound normal

Timebox Evo keeps on beeping if it doesn't have a bluetooth connection which I find totally annoying, it can't be turned off nor can you change the volume of the beep.

Thanks for the video! Are there video tutorials or instructions for changing pixel presets for the rotating view with the Max? I can't figure out how to change the pixel animations that rotate.

Do you know if you can leave the Pixoo plugged in and not rely on the battery? I'm sure the majority of people would be using this in a context where they would want it plugged in.

I agree, and yes you can! It will deplete the efficiency of your battery though, so if you ever wanted to use just the battery in the future and not have it plugged in, you might find that you only get say 4 hours, not 6. So i'd recommend only plugging it in all the time if you'll always use it like that. Otherwise, unplug it at night!

I saw one of these in passing a while back, but I just rediscovered them today. Am I right in thinking the Tivoo Max is the only one with an aux input? I'd have preferred one of the other ones, but I need the aux input as I have some ideas for live music visualisation a pixel display might be suitable for, so that's probably the one I will go for.

Sure! Although you’ll probably kill the battery, so if you ever want to use it on battery in the future it won’t last the full 6 h anymore

Months later and now I want to get one, I'm not sure if purchase the Pixoo or the Timebox Evo, I'm not gonna use the Bluetooth speaker so that doesn't matter, so the logic answer seems to be the Pixoo but seems that it doesn't have the pixel quality of the Timebox, what do you recommend?

I think I preferred the Timebox Evo really. The glossy display makes the pixels pop a lot more than on the Pixoo - even though it’s smaller. Plus you’ve got that added functionality if you ever did want to use it!

Is the power button suppose the be clicked? When I press my power button you can’t feel it press in it’s like it’s been pressed in that it’s stuck but it still works Does yours click when pressed or is it like a non moving button

do you need to have the phone connected at all times or can you use to phone to load certain clocks/art into the device and then turn off the bluetooth and the screens will keep cycling through it? also - can u have it connected to the power at all time?

You can load them! Just connect your phone if you want to change up the designs! I turned off the devices completely and they still woke me up with my preset alarms too. You could have them constantly plugged in if you wish, but this might ruin the battery efficiency, so if you ever used it in the future on its battery it wouldn’t last as long.

No, you can disconnect your phone. Then later if you ever want to change the pixel art you can just connect again, sync the new artwork and then disconnect again

Thanks for the reviews. I just find it a slightly bit hard to follow your fast-paced spoken English. You have stops and then a flooow of verbs in a few seconds explaining some features etc :)
