Some ppl will get with someone that they've witnessed be mistreated by someone with the thought they can treat them better that the person that they were with before. They try to be all that they need and all of what the other person wasn't, but somehow they end up with someone that doesn't appreciate them. In this case, I felt she was just used to picking horrible men and it made her controlling and paranoid.
