Why are people never ready for marriage, but ready for kids
@ForeverLumoz7 жыл бұрын
Royal One Right?? Somehow they always have an idea about how "I'm not ready for the commitment of marriage". Seriously?? Marriage can be broken of by divorce if everything is lost at some point. It shouldn't be easy, but it's possible as a last resort. Kids are for ever. They'll be there until you die.
@me6ur7 жыл бұрын
Royal One they think kids deserve seeing two people who are not even serious about each other raise them.

A dysfunctional culture that celebrates more baby showers to unwed mothers than weddings is black folks biggest problem in America besides racism. This gives black women a pass to wear being a single unwed mother like a badge of honor.

Lansana Camara -- That's a excuse that would have worked maybe 60 years ago. There are so many methods of birth control. It's impossible in most cases to say opps I "accidentally" had sex and didn't Renner that's how a baby is made. No such thing as accidentally got pregnant.
@FreshaDenaMofo7 жыл бұрын
Potty Maybe I worded it poorly. I agree that there are obvious ways to prevent pregnancy. I was referring to the fact that said methods are not 100% preventative, and thus people can still get pregnant even when taking the right steps to avoid it.

I got married first then we had our son. No cheating or lying in our marriage. Communication and trust are the best part to having a successful marriage.
@sisteryaya247 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad that it all worked out for you but there are plenty of marriages where someone is cheating, and or lying. The divorce rate in America is around 50-60% so there is obviously no guarantee for a happily ever after even with marriage. But I do agree with you, marriage first, children afterwards is a better way to go, at least that way you may have a deeper commitment and some legal protection.

@@dwayneevans683 And he's without any faults, sinless and spotless? How do you know, since you don't have any more of an insider view than I do into this particular marriage, how much she has supported him and tolerated his flaws? A good marriage consists of give and take, not in a transactional sense, but in a way that, on a day when one partner is weak, be it the man or the woman, the other holds him or her up. And for every marriage you mention where the woman falls short in the ways you mention (which includes a whole lot of stereotyping, because women and men have many different interests that aren't so strictly dictated by gender - what if a man prefers to cook and a woman ends up, say, earning more?), I've seen, up close, marriages where the woman is the breadwinner and the man is getting a degree and she's supporting him. Your utterly bleak, pessimistic view is obviously informed by your own experience, and I'm sorry it's been so grim. I've seen good marriages and bad, and the only available human beings are ones with flaws. Even so, God did say it is not good for man to be alone, so here we are. Blrssings and peace to you, Sir.

I bet the daughter's are GORGEOUS! Sigh typical 22 year olds. But they are good people. So with time one day they will wake up and realize they are not whom they use to be. Childish things grow old and having security in different aspects of life feel so liberating one wants nothing more for their family. I really hope they stay together. Being with your highschool sweetheart and growing together can be very hard, but keeping others out and the love in is the key to a successful future with one another. I believe in them and I hope they both will achieve in their future endeavors.

I don't understand how teenagers will get themselves entangled with meaningless relationships 😏 get pregnant and still want to hang around with these no goods. Get a life, get a job, get your priorities straight, go to school, stay in school, get into meaningful relationships & make your own world beautiful. How hard is that ?

There's nothing really too wrong with these two, but I think they are a little too young and immature right now (I think him a little more than her) You can't be scrapping with the cops and spending $100s a month on shoes when you've got kids at home. You just can't. They need to grow up before they start doing grown folks things like having more kids. Let's hope they wrap it up/use birth control. Let's hope they get it together for the sake of those little girls that they already brought into the world. I really hope it works out for them even if they don't end up together. The judge gave them some bomb ass advice. That was straight fire at the end there! 🔥🔥🔥

It takes more maturity to be a good parent than to be a good spouse. That's why it's best to practice being a good partner, and learn the fine art of compromise while both getting your needs met, before you become parents. Once you are parents, you both need to be prepared to take a back seat to your children's needs for some time.

I'm getting annoyed by the fact that we always reproach girls for not using birth control when actually both partners can use protection. Now boys believe that it is not so much their job to care about it. Both are equally responsible.

Well it was clear from the beginning that these two should not get married. Sad too because of the kids. I try to tell people all the time once you have kids being an idiot is over. Hanging out when you want, getting drunk all night and passing out behind the liquor store, taking it back to the college-day thinking and having a four day weekend instead of three, to really reflect on you and what you want and feel, pop up and decide to go play pool on your last money. Gone. The earlier you get that in your head the better everything will turn out.

I can relate A LOT to this young couple!! I see a glimpse of my husband's and my past. My husband was selfish at 20 and thought buying the latest pair of Jordan's was more important than doing what he should for our 2 children and our future! They just need to grow and they do need to learn who they are so they'll know what they want. They CAN MAKE IT!! I've been right where they are and on the other side, meet in high school, had kids early and moved in and shacked up for years and went through all the ups and downs. I LOVE my husband and I couldn't imagine my life without him but if I could do it over and met him after I knew MY WORTH! Because the worst feeling is knowing that you exsposed your babies to all your mistakes and craziness intentionally but you do because YOU don't know yourself!! I'll be praying for these 2 and their family!! They can do it and he sounds like he really did hear what they judge told him and she is already in so unless something outlandish happens she'll wait for him to see what's important. I think we as PEOPLE judge others and forget about all the mistakes we made when we were young, dumb and in "love" 💜💛💛💙
