Whew. This was a lot. So she gets criticized for staying in bed with him, and accused of cheating or avoiding him when she tried to stay out of the bed to let him sleep. There was so much going on. I don’t even know what to say.

I don’t agree with the fact that she doesn’t show her kids physical affection. Clothes, food, and a roof over your kids head is what a parent SHOULD be doing. You chose to have them. That’s when you go to therapy and work out your internal issues so you can be a better mother. IMO

Some people can’t for many reasons. Nobody taught them, it feels uncomfortable to them… but either way she was saying it’s consistent with her regular behavior. He should have dated her longer and don’t marry someone who is like that…. If it’s important to you. Neither of my parents are huggers. I craved it and made sure I can do that marriage and often with my sons.

You never know why a person has issues about intimacy even with their own children, child abuse, molestation.... Granted she needs therapy but therapy won't work until she realizes she needs it. She was a single mom who was moving and shaking to make it work. Not all single moms have a support system.

I’m 9 minutes in and dude is 🦇 💩 crazy! When said he was shot in the head and suffered nerve damage! That explained a lot, but I personally couldn’t deal with a man running after me when I get out of bed & thinking I’m poisoning him! Her kids do need to work though! patients with head injuries are on a whole other level. I may have missed it but I would be curious to know when this injury occurred. This uptick in paranoia and obsessive behavior is probably connected to that event. It would also be interesting to know how he was before the head injury and exactly what lobe or lobes of the brain sustained damage. There’s just too much going on here. I hope she stayed safe.

I understand a little why he's insecure. If she's not having sex with him or being intimate with him, then I can see why he's accusing her. I felt that way in my first marriage, even though the ex was doing other things to make me believe he was stepping out on me. I think him having been shot in the head gave him PTSD and severe anxiety. He's paranoid all around.

If she would’ve called it off he probably would’ve profess his love for her before giving her ring back. And I doubt she stopped sleeping with him out the blue because she wanted to stay with him. He probably didn’t realize he was accusing before all that and he turned her off.

Don't want to misjudge. But I know someone with a head injury. Being shot like he has can cause psychological changes in a person and ofcourse they won't think there's anything wrong. Going to the doctor 32 times for gastro issues is serious, I am sure the doctors are running a CBC test and it would detect abnormalities in the blood, plus they can also detect inflamation. So the fact he would go to the doctor that many times, is alarming. I myself have had mysterious ongoing issues in the past. But when the doctors tell you they can't find anything and you have been at the hospital more than you can count on both hands, you naturally would seek a higher treatment. Continuing to run to the hospital is not usually the sane move. He should be looking into a specialist. Getting a endoscopy/colonoscopy etc. Getting your own apartment, and setting up cameras to watch your wife at home, is complete loss of trust. And I don't know if the other behavior is a result of the head injury, but I would be afraid to tell her to stay. It may seem minor on the outside looking in. But not knowing if he is internalizing these things he's accused her of, such as poisoning will end up reslting in some kind of feeling of resentment or worse. That's deep. Usually I wouldn't wouldn't divorce outside of physical abuse or infedility. But this is mental and emotional abuse, that will not get better without him believing anything is wrong and could get worse. It sad all the way around because it's not his fault.

That’s how I am w my family it would gross me out if one of my siblings hugged me. Some people's love language is expressed differently. My boyfriend likes to verbalize his. I'm more of an action lover. Words are meaningless to me and we fight about this constantly, especially since his actions usually misalign with his words. I don't have to tell you I love you ten thousand times by ten p.m. at night. By that time, my actions throughout the day have SHOWN my love for you COUNTLESS times over. I feel so bad for him. As a few comments said, I think it's the gunshot that really hurt his cognitive function. I don't know about a full divorce quite yet but if they separated and he worked on himself and she worked on herself and both took therapy together to understand what they're dealing with and try to get them to work together. He's not a bad guy, he's made bad decisions, but I do think he lobes his wife and kids. His doctors should've put him in continuous therapy after a wound to the brain. That's their fault for sure. I wish them both the best. Maybe he needs someone who can understand him more and know how to work with him better, but I also believe she's a smart cookie and can learn with him if she wants to.
