Everything you said is true. Hardly any pastor preaches this. My husband left me and remarried all while the pastor knew about it, and though I fought it as hard as I could, the law is against me. I have kept my vows for 38 years though divorced 12 years. I will be adding this to my Divorce and Remarriage Adultery playlist which now has over 200 videos, so thank you for speaking the truth. Satan loves destroying families. My three children though have committed to covenant marriages of their own. Praise the Lord.

@@Ahmad92726 Divorce is only valid via death, just to clarify. The divorce decree you recieved in the mail means nothing to God. The "second marriage" you speak of is not valid to God. Therefore.... getting out of that adulterous relationship is required for both your and her salvation. She is with a married man (you). Once you leave that relationship, yes, she is free to marry since the marriage was never valid in the first place, however, you are not free until your wife (ex but not ex) passes away... or reconcile.. thats it.

As I was going through turmoil in my marriage and yes we have many open doors where the enemy would enter. And the enemy usually always work through the women to get to the head of the home. I was not saved at the time and I was operating under the jezebel spirt. I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus and he changed me. I thought once I got saved my marriage would get better but it got worse and even though I was saved and was filled with the holy spirt I was still operating under the influence of jezebel. Jesus would tell me to pray for him, but I did not because I was stiff necked towards my husband. And I also didn’t pray for him because I thought God was going to send me another husband. And the more I seeked God about it the more he would tell me to pray for him. Long story short it ended in divorce and God reveled to be that I must remain single or be reconciled to him and if I marry another I’m committing adultery . I cried because at first I was saying that it was not fair that I have to be single and the he get to go out and do whatever he wants. But I got over it because it was just my flesh not wanting to submit to God. So I started seeking God about being reconciled to my spouse. He started showing me my part I played in how it lead into the divorce. He started healing me prom past wounds things that I brought into my marriage and started revealing to me On how I was under jezebel control. I started studying how jezebel operates and I got the revelation that It’s jezebel operating in these marriages , it’s seducing spirts that’s leading people out of their marriages making people “feel” like they don’t love their spouse anymore etc, causing division and discord among marriages and I’m tired of seeing people especially Christian’s not fighting for the marriage ! We as the body of Christ has no long suffering which is apart of the fruits of the spirit! Kick jezebel out of you marriages get sin out of your lives pray for your husband or wife because Jesus can restore anything. How can we believe God can gives a new house or car, but we don’t believe God can save our marriage! What God are you serving ?!. I have not been reconciled to my husband yet. This was a wonderful teaching that actually tells the truth. Not many pastors, preachers or teachers will preach the truth regarding divorce and remarriage adultery. Also, the Greek word for bondage in 1 Cor 7:15 is douloo which means "to enslave" or "bring under subjection," whereas the Greek word for bound in 1 Cor 7:39 is deo which means "to tie" or "to bind." Be encouraged to continue to teach this truth because there are some who are looking for the truth.

I agree with the premise, but to say that bound and bondage have no relationship AND that we must simply understand that is just like saying "trust me, bro." You have a duty to prove that bound and bondage are clear and distinct from each other, ie, completely unrelated. In reality, bound and bondage are quite related. If you are under bondage are you not bound? If there are boundaries in marriage it would follow that you are in bondage. In fact, bondage means "the state of being bound."

The warped understanding of the word slavery is another area where you are being unfaithful to the whole Bible. Slavery is not always bad. If it was, would the Apostle Paul call himself a slave of Jesus Christ in Romans 1:1? I think he would use something else there, or better, that the Spirit would inspire better verbiage. The Scriptures instill in us that we should interpret scripture with scripture. Other examples of words, phrases and ideas are to be carefully considered when interpreting the meaning.

@@focuszx that’s not at all what Lev. 20:10 permits. Just because someone is forgiven doesn’t mean the punishment isn’t justified as well. Reconciliation isn’t a requirement because reconciliation requires both parties working on rebuilding. Sometimes a person isn’t interested in rebuilding trust. I see your point. A man can choose his destiny.....If adulterated relationships And temporary, sinful, perverted sexual pleasure with other people’s spouses are more important to one than love and obedience to the Lord, you faith is likely in vain. I will let God judge that. “ as hell is never full, so the soul of a man is never satisfied.” Adulterers shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. That is why some stats point out that 80% of adulterated couples divorce again. Stop the adultery, do not trade your soul for it.... it is not worth your life and salvation. Love and faith requires sacrifice and action. It is not a feeling. Early Christians gave their lives up to follow Jesus, never mind an adulterated spouse they pretend it a wife or husband.

It's a trap of the devil. Leading people away from the cross and the ministering of salvation into the application of the law. A person who is enslaved into bondage of law or unforgiveness is incapable of ministering the Gospel. To hold someone accountable for something they have done against you is unforgiveness, I have seen people who are convinced they are still married driven into poverty and homelessness as the devil vicariously through their former spouse continues to have hold over them via the adultery. The only way out of this trap is to repent, forgive and move on in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

@@888WulfDog888 and as Paul said, remain celibate. You do not need to be under the bondage of divorce and remarriage adultery. You can be free. Absolutely. You cite extreme examples, certainly not the average case of divorce. But even if you married a possessed man. He can go ahead and leave, the believer is not his slave. But the believer is to seek peace in this situation at all cost. To divorce and seek remarriage adultery with this evil man is not an act of peace. It would cause envy, wrath, and put some other foolish man into a dangerous adulterated situation. So she should never accept a divorce paper, remain single, and seek the Lord, seek peace, and hope and pray for healing and reconciliation if the man were to get saved. That is clearly what the verse and context of the passage is teaching .

Error Alert! #1. Divorce is only rightly done when a husband divorces his wife for becoming one flesh with a man before she has become one flesh with her husband. Once the husband marries the wife he can divorce her as the law says and not before. #2. After a man takes a wife and marries her, and he becomes aware that the wife committed fornication before the marriage then he can divorce her and they both would be free to marry another, but now the lord asks that we stay together but if we divorce the woman should remain unmarried 1COR.7:10-11. #3. 1COR.7 is dealing with the questions the Corinthians had concerning fornication 1. 1COR.7:1-9= the unmarried 2. 1COR.7:10-24= the married 3. 1COR.7:25-40= the virgins You can not read 1Cor.7:27-28 and apply this to married people this is for betrothed people who are loosed from an agreement to marry and notice it says nothing about divorce because in order to divorce you first have to get married. #4. So people without understanding say you could divorce a wife for being unfaithful during the betrothal period but it says nothing that in the law because when we read Deut.22:13-21 which the marrying process the woman is stoned during that period. #5. If Jesus was asked what does the Law say then his answer would have to be true and based on the Law which gives the right to go marry another person. Matt.19:9=Deut.24:1-4. We can't try and put Matthew against Mark and Luke, we have to realize some books don't always record everything said this is why we read all and rightly divide the word. If Mark and Luke don't agree with the Law but Matthew does then we see everything was not recorded.
