It also means alot legally, especially if there is a business or if one spouse becomes sick or there are step kids involved and something happens to the parent, they could be taken away. In alot of states, they do not recognize girlfriends and boyfriends.

This was a weird case. It seemed as though she had deeper issues with sexual preference/identity, lack of interest in the relationship, commitment issues, and issues with sharing parental control. All of which will end a relationship or marriage. Did anyone notice that in the pic he brought as evidence the "friend" looked a little "butch" lesbian? This must be a sign of new age times, because I don't have any female friends that I would ever kiss. She has the driest, dullest expression of love for him. Judge Star expressed more excitement to be in love and married to her husband than this defendant did. The fact that they have only been together for 4 years and there's so little "fire & desire " is troubling. My advice to this young man would be to slow-walk this engagement - stay engaged for 2 more years and just watch her and see how the relationship materializes. If everything checks out, then get married. He has to "look deeper" before he leaps. Now, where have I heard this before!??🤔
