It’s so funny because I go to school in the Caribbean and most of my roommates in my dorm are not Indian so they were confused to see me stand for hours and cook for my few friends who had just come this term from India on Diwali. The feelings expressed in this video of what it’s like to not have that food or that taste and that feeling of home is the exact reason I did it.
