This was my dad's absolute favorite song. It was sung at his funeral. I tear up every time I hear it.

Randy Allred has to be the most underrated bass singer of all time. I think he and Ken Turner were my favorite bass singers from the older Dixie Echoes recordings.

Love this family, this group anyone know if the National Quartet Conventions in Memphis were recorded?? What I would give if I could get a recording of some of it...I was there I think it was 1965, as a teenager, singing with my sister and a girlfriend, and Hovie played for us to sing in the contest. I remember the name of the song we sang...How Beautiful Heaven must Be...Jake Hess standing by, asked if we knew the song 'How Big Is God'...wow, the memories. This trio sang opened for th Goodmans when Rusty was still alive...South Lebanon, Ohio...
